Hey! Are you having a hard time getting into the Hidden Forest or Viridian River, or are you looking for extra starters? After getting to Celadon, you can enter it from Route 16!

From the Hidden Forest, you can then enter the Viridian River where depending which tile you enter from, you will find different sets of starters as an overworld encounter. You'll hear a sound cue if an overworld encounter spawns when you enter the area.

Make sure you're at the level cap at least (you can enable level cap in options and it will stop letting a Pokemon gain exp when it reaches said cap)

Look at the teams of the elite 4 and champion and give your team members super effective moves for them

Stock up on revives, max revives, full potions and full restores and make sure to heal when low

Save after each elite 4 member defeated so if you fail against the next one you can close your game and be back at the one you most recently defeated

Consider lowering the difficulty if all else fails (hall of fame will display lowest difficulty used btw incase you care)

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

This can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Hidden Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

NOTE: Fusions encountered in the wild with a HA will lose that ability when they are unfused. Because of this, wild fusions will not work this.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn.

You could start a game in Legendary Mode, but then Randomize trainers with around a +/- 50 BST. So you'll have all the provided legendaries and they'll just have regular, random, Pokémon

Hey @solar locust! Are you looking for Rare Candies? You can buy them at the Battle Tower on Kindle Road for 3 tokens. They are also a potential prize at the Triple Battle Lounge on Knot Island. You can also get them from Resort Gorgeous by completing Selphy's request. All of these are repeatable.

They're both useful it just depends on what you would rather have

do you have an ability that provided synergy?
do you need either for coverage of a weakness?
do you already have a lot of either typing covered with other moves?
do you intend to set up and then attack? or just spam attacks? or use utility in between attacks?

with 250.000 pokemon and 6 party pokemon it is rarely ever a "which is better without context"

If you have a Ninjask or a Speed Boost Mon, I'd personally go for Fury Cutter (if it's STAB). It grows stronger overtime and you can end up sweeping a team really easily if you can set it up right. The only caveat is it does have a 90 accuracy which means it can miss, and it starts pretty weak, especially so if they're not getting Stab.

Hey @worthy karma! Are you looking for a Deoxys? Here's a guide: ||A girl at the Kin Island's hotel mentions that she saw a meteor crash around Bond Bridge and asks you to go investigate. North of the bridge you will find a waterfall. Climb up to find two secret agent type NPCs around a small crater. Talk to them and they will ask you to find the other pieces of an alien spaceship. The first one is located on Route 32 near a ledge. The second one is underwater on Route 19, South of Fuschia. You have to find the dive spot on route 20 and then head east to find it. After finding the two pieces, go back to the secret agent near Bond Bridge and they will use the locations of the pieces to triangulate the location of the mothership. It is located on Birth Island. Ask the sailor in Cinnabar Island's harbour to take you there. Once on Birth Island you will find another spaceship part. Interact with it and it will start floating around. Interact with it twice more and Deoxys will appear.||

The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

• After 4 rematches, the head Pokémon will evolve regardless of badges.
• After 9 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, the head and body Pokémon will evolve.
• After 19 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, it will evolve again.

Yes, fusions evolve when they meat the requirements of their individual halves. For example a Ralts/Charmander will evolve into Ralts/Charmeleon at level 16 and Kirlia/Charmeleon at level 20

If two pokemon fused evolve at the same level it will let you choose which to evolve. Be aware stone evolutions do not give you that option. So if you fuse Vulpix/Eevee and use a fire stone, there is a chance of it forcing the evolution on Eevee instead of Vulpix

Should be very doable without any EV training at all.
the game is made with casual play in mind.

try looking at more obvious issues.

• are you only dmg-move spamming? non-dmg moves are the strongest moves in the game.
• are you utilizing STAB? moves with the same type as your pokemon get a boost.
• are you covering types? or is your whole team dying to a single E4 team.
• are you using abilities? check your pokemon abilities and what they do. plan accordingly

It just seems like the elite 4's mons are faster than my slower and not ev-trained mons and hit very hard despite dealing resisted or neutral damage. Here's my team. Also swampert do not learn any physical water move and cannot learn TM/HM except waterfall and dive (not available yet). not even Aqua Jet

The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

• After 4 rematches, the head Pokémon will evolve regardless of badges.
• After 9 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, the head and body Pokémon will evolve.
• After 19 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, it will evolve again.
• After 29 rematches and gaining 6 or more badges, it will evolve again if not maxed already.

Below are the best trainers to rebattle for exp on their respective modes
Classic (Left)

• Cool Trainer Sofia outside of the League has a lvl 42 Chansey.

Remix (Right)

• Route 32 Fisherman Justin has a lvl 63 Blissey fusion and a lvl 5 Magikarp.

Okay.So I like to have different pokemon in different pokeballs, i thought I figured out a way to change the ball that they're in by reversing their fusion, and then unfusing. But now it seems to just be turning balls into pokeballs... am I missing something here?

Hey @valid jackal! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.
