If you have an empty slot in your party and a normal red Pokéball in your bag (won't work with other balls), you'll also get a Shedinja! If your Nincada was fused with something else (say, a rare legendary), you'll thus have two fusions of that other Pokémon, successfully duplicating it. :eyes:

Having trouble keeping up your chain? Read through the steps below.

  1. Gather up Repels and Pokéballs of your choice. It is also recommended to have Elixirs, Ethers, or Leppa Berries as well to maintain PP.
  2. Apply a repel outside of the grass ⬅️ and then enter the grass where your desired Pokémon is located. The Radar has its own built in Repel that only lasts 8 steps. The extra repel is for larger patches that would require more than those 8 steps. For small patches of grass, additional Repels aren’t needed
  3. Use the Radar and interact with rustling grass until you find the Pokémon you are looking for, running away from any Pokémon you are not hunting.
  4. Defeat or capture the Pokémon. Do not run away. More grass will be rustling around you. Choose a spot that is 4 steps away through grass tiles and is surrounded by grass on all sides. If such a location does not rustle, reuse your PokéRadar until it is. This will not break your chain.
  5. Repeat step four until you find a shiny. You can use items between battles to maintain your Pokémon HP and PP.

After 20 battles, you have maxed out your Shiny chance. After 40 battles, you no longer risk breaking your chain based on grass distance however, having grass tiles around a spot is still important.

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

  1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
  2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

  1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
  2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
  3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

  1. Launch the game.
  2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
  3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Once completed, you can view your custom sprite in-game from the Pokedex's Sprite tab.

Hey @little gyro! Are you looking for the XP Share? You can get it in the Cerulean Pokémon Center from Professor Oak's Aide once you've fused at least 5 Pokémon. They can also be bought from the Silph Co. Lobby for 11,000$ if you saved 7 or more employees, or 8,000$ if you saved all the employees!

To use Exp Share, give it to a Pokémon to hold. That Pokémon will now gain XP without needing to participate in battle.

Exp Share will NOT stack with Exp All.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

  1. Open your game folder
  2. Double click SaveFile
  3. Double click the folder named backups
  4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
  5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
  6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Hey @light turtle! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

  • Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

  • Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

I just downloaded the game on windows and I want to change my controls using the F1 panel, but once I change them and hit accept, the changes don't seem to be reflected in the game. this is my mapping

  • up down left right i have as WASD or my joystick( just my preference)
  • L is my Left Bumper is used for speed up mode
  • R i have as right bumper (i forget what is does i never use it
  • A is mapped to X on my controller is used to select items to sort in the bag and to change selection mode in the PC
  • B is mapped to b on controller, it brings up the pause menu and also is used and my back or esc
  • C is mapped to A its used to select or interact with things
  • X is mapped to Y and as far as i can tell is only used as Page up in the bag or previous box in the PC
  • Y i have mapped to left stick press and is Page down in the bag or is Next box in the PC (i might swap this to my X button on my controller now that ive realised this)
  • And Z is mapped to my right stick press and is used to open the quick selection menu for your registered key items

If you're wanting to unfuse a Pokémon you got from a trade: Pokémon with a different OT than yours cannot be unfused! However, you can make it forget its OT in the school in Violet City (post game) for ₱50 000. You're free to unfuse it after that!

The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

  • After 4 rematches, the head Pokémon will evolve regardless of badges.
  • After 9 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, the head and body Pokémon will evolve.
  • After 19 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, it will evolve again.
  • After 29 rematches and gaining 6 or more badges, it will evolve again if not maxed already.

Below are the best trainers to rebattle for exp on their respective modes

The sprites are being monitored by staff and still work properly.
You need internet!!
read this whole message carefully to know what is applicable to your situation.

➡️ IF you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is fine and working properly.

----- the game can only download a limited number of sprites per time unit while playing before going on cooldown, you simply hit the maximum for now.

----- check you have your "download data" option enabled.

➡️ IF you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:

--- Your game is not fine nor working properly.

----- This is likely the result of you messing with files, either to cheat or try to "fix" stuff. OR you have "download data" turned off in options.

step 1. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
step 2. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses > advanced > other > reset > reset sprite cache & reset alt selection

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

  • Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

  • Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

i'm not really sure if this is normal for this to happen (since i haven't played pif in around 1-3 months) but while or before i was about to fix my lag issue, it appears that all of the sprites from my pokemon seem to be unexpectedly odd; about 70% of all my pokemon seem to have changed back to the japeal fakemon fusion, and some of them seem to lack sprites (the dialga-palkia fusion for example, it appears there's no other sprite i can use, applies to some of my pokemon too), The game detects that i already have these sprites downloaded though it doesn't seem to properly work, i've tried the help man but it doesn't seem to do anything. Is there something i'm missing here?

The most likely reason your game is opening and closing is due to improperly updated game files. We mention in #downloads to not update ANY files versions below 6.6.0.

If you're using the Launcher:

  1. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from #downloads
  2. Open the settings tab
  3. Click "Reset Config"
    NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion

If you're not using the Launcher:

Use the Lightweight installer guide to install in a NEW folder ➡️ Click Here⬅️

So I'm encountering an issue of sort with the pokeradar. When I'm exploring a new patch of grass, at least a couple of the mons that would spawn on the list would never spawn except as fusions (which don't count for trying to unlock the final mon in the grass).
Additionally, it'd spawn mons that don't show up on the list.

Are you running a specific run-setup (like mono-type) or playing regularly?

another useful mon that could help is a mon with both intimidate and Baby-Doll Eyes. Both of them reduce attack stat by a stage. Once upon coming into play, and Baby-Doll Eyes is a priority move, so even a lower level mon can generally out-speed a faster mon when using that. Dropping an enemy's attack stat 2 stages will help your slower tanky team survive better.

find any pokemon with it's HA and then you can "transfer" it over, i think you fuse the pokemon with the HA pick the HA when you pick the ability. then inverse the pokemon and unfuse. but i might be missing a step there somewhere.
Otherwise, you just need to keep capturing pokemon till you get a HA

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

This can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

NOTE: Fusions encountered in the wild with a HA will lose that ability when they are unfused. Because of this, wild fusions will not work this.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn.

After getting the 3 musicians, return to the Saffron, you then will need to go to the Mt. Moon Observatory by going through a southern Mt. Moon entrance on the Cerulean side. When at the Observatory on a Monday morning (5-10am), clouds will appear where you have to parkour to reach the harpist.
