Hey @kindred glade! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

Can anyone help with controller mapping? I am on android and tried to connect my controller, which didnt work so I tried re binding some of the keys and its not registering any buttons other than my X button and my dpad. Everything else doesnt work and rebinding it to other keys dont work

Hey @tired shuttle! You can press F1 (FN + F1 on laptops) to change your keybindings!

Be aware, remapping controllers does not work outside of Xbox Controllers. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses.

Is there a way to lvup fast or to get rare candies? I am on misty and playing with the gym leader lv cap but all my pokemons are lv22 and Misty's Ace is lv25. I tried farming but even the trainers around are dropping very little experience and farming it would just be a lot of meaningless grinding

yeah, until the battle tower, which is only available after you get and can use surf, no renewable rare candies or scaling pokemon levels, just find the trainer that gives the most XP and just grind that out, or just try to beat misty while underleveled.

They can be bought on Kin island, or every EV lowering berry except pomeg can be found on the berry trees outside the berry farm and can be given by the berry farmer. You can fin the berry farm to the southwest of fuschia city.

Hey @long anvil! Trying to get past the Corsola on Kindle Road? After defeating Jasmin on Kin Island, you'll get a Mareanie. Having Mareanie, Toxapex, or a fusion with them in your party will scare off most Corsola.

However, the Corsola at Mt. Ember won't be scared by Mareanie alone. You'll need the Mareanie doll from the fisherman's house on Kin Island to scare them away. Use the map below for location:

How to get Mimikyu to spawn:

  1. You have to leave the room and come back for it to reset
  2. **IMPORTANT ** Before playing the piano, use the Image below. These are the Register points for each room. Make sure to walk over those squares facing those directions multiple times for the puzzle to recognize you "Been" to each room. This is the reason for it to not spawn correctly.
  3. Play the piano and interact with the doll. It will say "This wasn't here before" and should be in a different location now. Move to the room the doll is in and interact with it.
  4. Repeat these steps until the doll is on top of the piano.
  5. Talk to the doll on the piano and that is when you get the "Run away" sound cue. This means if you go to the entrance room, Mimikyu will be there.

-** IF THE DOLL GETS STUCK**, repeat step 1 to reset the room and try it again. Step 2 is important for the doll to not get stuck.

Hey @rose reef! Are you trying to evolve Tyrogue? It evolves at level 20! If it's attack is greater than its defense, it'll evolve into Hitmonlee. If it's attack is lesser than its defense, it'll evolve into Hitmonchan. If both are equal, it'll evolve into Hitmontop. You may want to fuse Tyrogue with a Pokémon that has a high attack or defense stat to make it evolve into the Hitmon you want!

I havent been playing for a good while, so after updating the game, I noticed that my character on the save file looked like a bald guy with a black box with "TEMP" written on it. When I used the save, I was at my last location but the only thing from a normal character was just red's hair and cap.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

Hello, I have a problem with Porygon's quest in cyberspace and basically I have the ghosts linked to the quest for the lavender town feather and basically one of the ghosts has blocked Porygon's path one time and now whatever I do he refuses to move forward again when I talk to him. I restarted my game, reloaded the zone when leaving cyberspace and the house, used the NPC to "fix game" at the pkmn center but nothing
