How do the mechanics for getting eggs from the daycare work? Not for fusions, just for normal unfused pokemon. Specifically I would like to know what influences how long it takes to get eggs and if its possible to get hidden abilities from daycare eggs

well you cant breed fusions
but it should be 30% chance of an egg every 256 steps
as for abilities you should be able to get them

if the mother of the fusion has a hidden ability, means that there is a 60% chance that the Pokémon egg will inherit the hidden ability

If the mother does not have a hidden ability, it has an 80% chance of inheriting whatever ability the mother has. 20% chance of the egg gets the alternative ability. If the mother has ability index 0, the egg gets 1; if the mother has 1, the egg gets 0.

so seems like if the hidden ability is the 3rd ability or higher, it might never get it since it is only checking the 1st two abilities

Hey @coral jewel! Are you looking for Surf? The Surf HM can be found in Fuschia City's Safari Zone, Area 4! You can follow the path in the image above to get to a house. In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. You can also get its replacement item, the Surfboard, on Route 19, after getting 6 badges (and have the HM already).

Hi guys, trying to wrap my head around trainers pokemon held items, in randomised mode.
I was fighting Hiker Nob on Route 25 and 2 out of his 4 pokemon i discovered had held items (rocky helmet & focus sash) and gave myself a slap as i had recently deleted the move thief on my pokemon.
After finishing the battle, i retaught the move thief using the TM and rematched Hiker Nob by speaking to him so that i could take his items. However, none of his pokemon had items held this time and none of the rematches since have had any items either.

Does that mean that every battle has the random chance of having held items, rather than being trainer/pokemon specific? So trainers that would not usually have held items sometimes might now?

or can you just not steal trainers items?

so if your traded mon has a bst value of 500, you can get a mon with a bst value of 450

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game (this will delete the Data folder and bring it back for you)

Afterwards, reopen the game.

If you have an empty slot in your party and a normal red Pokéball in your bag (won't work with other balls), you'll also get a Shedinja! If your Nincada was fused with something else (say, a rare legendary), you'll thus have two fusions of that other Pokémon, successfully duplicating it. :eyes:

i know this has been ask several times and idk if im just stupid but i STILL dont know exactly how stance change works with fusions. i think there can only be two ways, just swaping defense and offense base stats of the fusion or refusing the pokemon with aegislash's sword form that it uses in the main games. im sorry if this has been concretely answered and ive just failed to find it.
