hello all, first post ever. just started playing a week ago so sorry if I'm not supposed to post this here! Is there a reason my ultra necrozma (found fused in the wild), turned into regular necrozma when i entered a battle? I refused the ultra necrozma with an arceus and that def isn't the sprite it's supposed to be. i read that he has to use a move while holding a necrozmite (or something) and had to catch a regular necrozma first, so after a while i found one fused with something else, caught it, and it wasn't holding the item. what the heck do i do now?

is it because there's a real necrozma holding a necrozmite in the game that i'm supposed to do the quest for? just weird bc when i catch jirachi fused with something else, for example, its holding a star piece just like the natural caught jirachi would. x.x sorry for the novel

yes there's a reason, Ultra Necrozma is supposedly only available in battle only by having Necrozma hold a Necrozmium then using Photon Geyser. UN that is from randomizers will revert back to normal Necrozma after battle

i have a problem in having trying to evolve a tyrogue to hitmontop. i tried raising its defense stat by iron making both atk and def equal so I evolved it but it's another of its evolutions

You should try to read NPC dialogue! They give very good hints on how to continue the game. Sometimes they also give you items! Don't forget to talk to NPC's and read what they say.

Hey @iron steppe! Are you looking for Cut? The Cut HM is given to you by the captain of the S.S Anne! You can get an S.S Anne ticket from Bill at the end of Cerulean Cape, which is north of Cerulean. You'll then find the key to the Captain's cabin on the deck of the S.S Anne. You can also get its replacement item, the Shears, on the east path of Route 2 (only once you have the HM already). You can use Cut to access it from the west path of Route 2, or take Diglett's cave from Vermillion City to get to it!

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the place to type this. I started a randomized balanced stats whole map game because I enjoy more the surprise of randomizers, but overall I feel like Im encountering the same pokes too often, and I'm afraid the randomizer may keep some pokes completely out. Is there a chance that could happen? Or does the randomizer puts all the pokes you'd normally encounter, just in different locations? Also, when I was setting the randomizer, I stated that gyms stayed out of the randomness, but they got randomized anyways.
