unfortunately theres no way to solve that, something with audio analog attenuators and how they are never going to be perfectly matched which you notice at very low volumes usually.

Ngl Steelseries kinda dropped the ball on this one, this is especially a problem for FPS games where the surround sound can be important, if the sound is then distorted that gives you a wrong idea of where the enemy is coming from and I was honestly disappointed when this began becoming a problem for me, because I usually love Steelseries products 😦

I've been using a Rival 310 for over 3 years and it's still in almost perfect condition despite it going on lots of tips and being packed losely inside a backpack

#

Only complaint about durability I've seen in this server is about the side grip issue that can happen with some of the Rival 600 and 650 mice but that's easily fixable via new sidegeips or just regluing the stock ones if you happen to get a faulty one, but that doesn't affect the performance or overall lifespan of the mouse

hello does anyone think the steel series headseats are uncomfortable? I don't even have big ears but ONLY my left ear is hitting the speaker part. It's like there's no cushion between the speaker and ear cup itself like the hyper x for example. The right ear is always fine but my left ear just keeps hitting the left speaker and while it doesn't hurt, it's very annoying

they are exact same @stray axle - there is just extra 3.5mm jack extension cable in PC version

Assuming you want a wired connection and are reasonably close to the console then you can certainly use the Arctis 3s or Arctis 5s (only real difference is rgb, engine, and chatmix dial but those are only really important to PC). Wireless in that price range would allow you to get the Arctis 1 Wireless for PS4 or the Arctis 3 Bluetooth.

Cal Poly is great, but I suggest UC Irvine - it has more direct connections to Gaming Companies and many internships. Plus, Irvine is a cool area, and close to Anaheim which is where a lot of cons are held

Remember, if you're going to school for comp Sci to work on games, internships, and making your own games is almost more impactful than transcripts
