I actually agree with the meme and I can tell you why people think this way: SteelSeries has lost their originality. They used to make tons of fun designs and add interesting features (sometimes gimmicky, other times not), think Rival 500/600, the old WoW mice, etc. Now the only way you can tell most of the mice they sell are SteelSeries is by the logo on the back... remove that and they just look like generic mice. They really do. I'll spare you the rest of the essay and leave it at that.

Depends if you like the packability of the wireless with all the modern capabilities, anc and transparency, a long battery life, but with a dip in mic quality (not by much, and this is only based off of one review I saw) and the loss of the HiRes certification and all the goodness a dac gives you. if you prefer high fidelity audio over everything and a good, very crisp raw mic input, all the clarify wired stuff gives you, then the wired is your best bet.

Bearing in mind so far I’ve only seen reviews on the nova’s and I’m going off of basically what the world tells me and shows me, but I think that’s a solid answer
