If you know how to edit audio a bit, the sound file is stored at C:\Program Files\SteelSeries\GG\sounds\clip-taken.wav (assuming you installed it at the default installation location). You can also replace it with a completely different sound there if that's what you want to do

How do i add Minecraft as a game in steel series

1. Open up minecraft

2. Open up the task manager (ctrl + shift + esc)

3. Find an entry that's called java or jre or openjdk or something like that (Might also be called Minecraft)

4. Right click on it and select 'Properties'

5. Copy the Location

6. Open up SteelSeries GG

7. Go into Settings

8. Go into Game Detection

9. Click on 'Add game'

10. Click on the red area seen on the image and paste what you copied in step 5

11. Search for javaw or javaw.exe and double click it
    Done. The clips will be called javaw instead of Minecraft because atm it's impossible to rename the added game

I just wanted to pop in to give a little feedback. As I was ending a match in Fortnite (probably 3rd place as we tend to do), I seen a small pop-up saying Clip Saved to Moments or something to that effect. I went and opened the SteelSeries GG app from my tray and noticed so many auto-clips saved. SO MANY. And I just wanted to thank you. This is amazing! Random knockdowns and elims that I wouldn't have thought to clip myself were captured and saved there for my to look back on. I can't even think of a feature to request right now other than linking to Twitter (I'm sure that's been said before). The ability to edit your clips right there in the app, like, SERIOUSLY?! Who does this?! I'm thrilled with the app so far and look forward to using it more!

@wanton snow at the top of the moments tab when you have a game open (or other software you have manually added as a "game") there is a dropdown menu selection between games you have open. as of now you can't capture desktops

Yeah it used to be automatic but always defaulted to 8MB compression which caused people who wanted higher than that to have to re-export in the selected compression rate. They changed it to make it easier to select the quality you want before it starts compressing it so you don't end up with multiple files

So in short its been over 1 month I've been trying to add the GameSense SDK into my Unity game, I tried everything and every way of support, but SteelSeries Support form is broken/down, so I'm here now, idk what to do, but the SDK does not seem to work at all for Unity and seems to be HELLA outdated plus the fact that it never worked with the Apex Pro (witch I have) I can't even light up the whole keyboard red, I followed the info given to the SPEC and yet nothing works. I need help, or sadly I will just have to not add this SDK into my game, but I really like steelseries, but as a game dev I am now seeing their lack of support for devs and Video or more in detail tutorials for the SDK.
Like just one example of what I mean is after a FRESH install of the SDK off of the Unity Store, it already gave me sooooo many errors from SteelSeries OWN scripts, so idk what to do at this point but have to drop it, Unless I can get someone to help me with this, I've waited 1 month, so im setting a limit to end this never ending struggle, if I can't get this working by the end of the week, then imma just not bother trying and delete the SDK.

Why steelseries GG, premium exclusivity has become cheep looking freemium app for everyone? well, leave the app for everyone, but at least remove that ugly annoying "check out how to enable advanced settings" button. Anyway i think all arctis headphones could adjust the distance in spatial audio and clearcast ai noise cancellation. you don't need a microphones for this type of noise cancelling. its AI.

Anybody know how to properly add text to a clip? Using the usual text adder-thingy controls the clip whilst typing, for example typing L fast forwards (usually to a point where the text isnt, so you have to scrub back) M mutes the clip ect. Hey all, just wondering if I could get some help with clips on Moments. I use a GoXLR and specify the mic channel/game channel correctly but in all my clips, my mic is really really quiet and the game is super loud to the point where you can't hear my reactions.
Not really sure why as the mic levels and audio levels are balanced in the complete opposite ways in the GoXLR mixing software. Any ideas?

Well moments isn't available for the MacOS version of GG but yea. I've tried voicemeeter before but it just wasn't for me tbh. I don't like how impure the audio is at times depending on the state of the cpu (whether it's being worked hard or if there's just light loads)

Hi im new to moments and i need help. Everytime i clip something and rewatch it the clip is just all black. Does anyone know how to fix this?

In gg go into settings -> game detection and find valorant. Click on the sparkle icon ✨then try changing it to game capture, if that’s still black then screen capture. If it’s still black then go into the moments screen, click on the arrow at the top next to either “ready to capture” or “capturing” and enable elevated capture

Hi! Im having trouble with engine. When I turn on my computer from hibernation mode, the option "Blink transmiter LED when headset is off" will reset and the trasmiter starts flashing until I manually open the engine window for my headset. After that is everithing fine.

Hi, does anyone else find that moments takes a lot of FPS in some games? Used it for Valorant and some F1 clips and especially on Valorant my FPS dropped from 250 avg to about 190-200 avg. Didn't expect such a huge hit and would love to use moments but its just not really ideal if my fps drops by that much

Its not that I have a bad PC by any means either, Ryzen 7 3700x and an RTX 3070 with 32GBs of ram at 3200Mhz should be fine I'd hope lol
