Those with the Nova Elite and using of USB 1 port of the dac. could you do me a favor and play music, go into SteelSeries GG / engine and change one setting - for example display option from off to dim or reverse, then "save", and this for 2-3 time between dim/reverse and save. Does you hear any crackling/popping?

this screen isnt on my app anymore. iirc, i saw this once, but maybe it was for my arctis 1. Pairing nova 7 is by keep the dongle pressed for few seconds (so it starts blinking) and then hold power on the headset for few seconds too

Also, for updating the firmware, the app asked me to connect the headset with the dongle + wirely

and i did so

it isnt an issue with the usb-c port, cuz it charges the headset

I have a question to people with SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7, is it normal that the Mic mute button is "on" when not pressed and "off" when pressed? it should be the other way around so idk if my headset does have it wrong or not and because i use the mic a lot then its pressed in most of the time and after nearly 2 nears it starts to break, i can hear the "beep" out of nowhere and even slight touch initiates it

Heya I got an msi stealth 16 laptop with steelseries keyboard. I see that when I press and hold the fn key, F keys are highlighted at max possible voltage in the LEDs. But on normal scenarios when I toggle the keys to use max brightness for the LEDs, they're not as bright as they are, like the highlighting of F keys. So I see that it's a software limitation. Is there any way I can force the keys to use max brightness possible? It's a kind of a bottleneck when I can barely see the backlight when I'm in a well lit environment, I can only enjoy the RGB when I'm in dark rooms. But that's not the point of having per key rgb : )

So one for Xbox and one for PC or PlayStation

So, I have the Arctis Nova 7 Gen 2 headset. The audio has been just fine. But, now I have a persistent crackle on the PC (dongle) channel. The cell phone (bluetooth) side has no issues. Guys, I need some quick help! I switched from my Astro A50X to the Nova Pro Wireless and my first impression is that the sound is VERY low, it seems like there's almost no bass... Okay, strangely, my issue seems to have fixed itself (for now). All I did was unplug the dongle USB adapter and plugged it back in. I plugged it into a different USB port, though I don't believe that was necessary. The audio is different. As though my headset wasn't getting all the info from the recent updates/settings I applied, or something. At any rate, still open to suggestion if anyone has an idea besides it not having a solid enough connection.

yeah its great if you want to have noise reduction on the mic and have different eqs

you can have different audio channels for chat,gaming, and media too

i think its great too, my biggest problem is that SteelSeries engine doesn't have a noise gate or noise reduction for the mic that saves to the headset, so that it works on consoles since console doesn't have sonar

mic volume can be halfway and it still picks up everything in the house. Air, controller sounds, chair, background voices

atleast when i play on pc sonar helps with that 😒

not really, XTX gonna hold up longer, and the performance is on par. Unless you want to do a ton of RT, or want to run disgusting upscaling and frame generation instead of sweet sweet 4k native, the 7900 XTX tends to have the advantage

also, you can run Linux with FAR less hiccups.

engine saves to the headset and works on consoles and pc, while the sonar eq is only on pc and you have to put sonar as your audio output for you to hear THAT eq

Best fix I found for this goes like this.
Uninstall the GG Engine and then go into device manager and remove the audio driver from the section, "Sound, Video, and Game controllers". Power down the headset and then do a clean reinstall. It seems to fix the issue
