Hi i have a big problem i bought my Nova 7 Gen 2 3 weeks ago and my headset has an System freeze i think it dont react to any buttons it donts power off after a few minutes i cant turn it off and i also cant connect to an device (sorry for my english i from germany)

Hello, I just bought the Arctic GameBuds and the microphone sounds terrible. Do you have any settings recommendations to remove the echo effect? My friends say it sounds like I’m talking from inside a bathroom when I speak. Thanks.

Been needing help for a week or so now, asked multiple times (and while I greatly appreciate the volunteers who help out when they can, its kinda crazy there isnt a single person whos actual job it is to help with support). It really does suck though
I ended up getting help from someone else who needed a problem fixed, they just happened to know what I was talking about
Every once in a while, someone will get in VC and just chill trying to help as many people as they can, but thats kinda rare. Ik someones in VC rn but idk if they are helping with support or just chillin

asking here is probably a long shot, but I've already submitted a support ticket with steelseries and just want to get to the bottom of this issue and maybe someone here knows what my issue is.
I have an artis nova 3 mic and whenever I try to join a discord voice call my mic stops working, with steelseries sonar saying something went wrong with my mic and to select a device. however selecting my arctis nova 3 mic doesn't actually activate my mic again, the error just persists. The only solution that works is unplugging and then plugging in my mic again. However this only works until I power my computer off, the next time I power on my computer and join a discord voice call I need to unplug/plug in my mic again.
I've tried messing with my usb ports, steelseries sonar setting, discord setting, device drivers, but nothing has worked. If anyone else knows what might fix this it would be greatly appreciated

Hello! Also a new user here and bought a new Arctis Nova 1 wired headset. The mic tends to stop working after a few hours (I don't know how, but usually I AFK for dinner and by the time I come back after 30 minutes, the mic is no longer working). I tried restarting my PC, plugging the headset in and out but it doesn't work. A recent fix I found is uninstalling the device from Device Manager but it feels like a hassle to always have to do that... Any help would be appreciated :(
Perhaps in gg engine you could change that?
i did i set it to "never" still turn off after a few second's
hmm id maybe try to just set to the highest time possible before timeout and see if that works, if not then id contact official support for this
is it possable to fix that long lasting bug with 0.1mm rapid trigger where some imputs dupe itself
Due to a bug in Discord's screen capture, Discord may capture Sonar outputs as part of the desktop audio, which can lead to echoing when screen sharing.
This issue can be fixed by setting Discord's capture to only capture a specific app. Application capture will only play audio from the selected app, and will not erroneously capture Sonar audio.
Alternatively, if you'd still want to capture the full desktop, you can use Sonar's streamer mode to manually choose what audio to send over your mic, and mute the stream sharing audio. More information on how to do this is in the links below.

Hi, is there anyone who can respond me to my problem. My problem is that i just turned on the PC, and the steelseries gg app isnt opening, i just have a grey screen and a loading icon. I reinstalled app and still it doesnt work and i looked up on steelseries website about my problem but it isnt helping. Can someone please help me because my headsets isnt working and I have Arctis 5
try closing GG from the taskbar or task manager and try opening from the launcher in the program files? ("C:\Program Files\SteelSeries\GG\SteelSeries GG Launcher")
my arctis nova gen 7's just disconnected by themselves and now they won't reconnect. not really sure what to do here

Why does my SteelSeries GG not work? It just stays loading
Uninstall and reinstall works but it then breaks when i restart my PC
i think gg 111 is broken
so many people are experiencing this trouble
only way to use it for me is download an older version but it is updating itself daily, 111 isn't opening. why is there no option to turning off auto updates???
There'd be hundreds with the same problem here if there was something affecting everyone
You can block it in the firewall or change the version.json file

I’m adding a rule through the firewall right now hopefully it fixes it.
It's not impossible that there's a subset of users affected by a problem, my point was about a widespread issue affecting everyone on that version.
I feel like I've avoided a ton of problems by using Windows 10 personally
I’m also using Windows 10, but I’m planning to switch to Windows 11 at some point. I even considered switching earlier, thinking maybe GG isn’t very compatible with Windows 10 anymore
I haven't had any issues with GG in Windows 10 but I also haven't tried v111 yet

How do I make Discord an authorized app ond GG?
Already opened a support ticket, Windows 10, weird issue that has now occurred twice for me. Essentially GG/Sonar eventually stop updating the output device when i manually switch it for Game/Chat. Just no sound. If I change my windows output device to my speakers, it works fine but specifically through sonar it doesn't. Last time it was a slow building thing where a restart of GG would fix it, but it's gotten to the point again where it doesn't react at all. My previous solution (and probably what I'll do here shortly) is just fresh install SteelSeriesGG, but curious if anyone else has seen this issue, really.
Hey, can anyone with the Nova Elite or Omni test something for me - with the headphones turned up play a song in spotify or something else with the volume set to as close to mute as you can inside the music player. Is it crackling/staticy?
This is happening to me on 3/3 steelseries headsets I've tried with multiple PCs; it's noticeable when you're on calls in teams/etc. since it's transmitting near-silent audio between people talking
hello im in need of assistance of my steelseries gg sonar, i want to ask about my sample rate on the microphone once gg sonar recognizes it if, it can change the sample rate, because apparently its greyed out, and its by 24 bit 48000hz i wanted it to change to 16 bit
I'm having issues opening the app, it's been bugging me a couple of days now, deleting and reinstalling the latest version was annoying but ok
Now when I reinstalled the latest version, it doesn't even detect the audio and I have no idea what's wrong with it

hello i have issues with my box from the arctis pro wireless. The oled Display buggs a lot, I tried unplugging it and it worked for 1 day. after that the display is flipped on the Head. I realy dont know why its like that. please reply me with @ and thanks 🙂

yes stream app only or mute the stream and use sonars streamer mode to stream all sound from your mic
