Hello! Currently, none of my audio routes to Stream Mix. When I click "what my audience hears" there's no audio. I checked all the "add to stream mix settings" and let sonar set defaults. idk how your setup is but i have a standalone mic with an arctis 7. when my headset isnt working i usually fully disconnect it (disconnect dongle) close GG and then start it all back but thats a rare thing for me. also make sure (if youre using GG) that it is set to the correct audio output

But the problem is when I'm playing the game the sound that the enemy is producing is not really pinpointed. If the enemy is on the left of me, at 200m, and shooting at me. I can hear the whole earcup lightup with sound , it is not like I can just turn to the left and say he is in that direction at 150-200m. I have to turn and then peek out again, so he can keep shooting at me.
The games I'm playing are the Hell Let Loose, Battlefield 6 and Tom Clancy Wildlands.

im not sure if anyone else is having a similar issue, but when i have discord under the chat in the mixer i cannot hear anything, if i move it to aux or media etc i can watch stuff inside of discord and/or hear mic/unmute sound etc. but if its under chat i hear nothing. To me i think this changed after a windows update but im not sure. Ive gone into discord and set directly for "chat" and turned off the noise suppression etc and done any other stuff ive seen suggested.

Side note whenever i open OBS i no longer hear things as well. Ive gone through and rerouted all my settings in OBS, uninstalled and reinstalled Steelseries GG and restarted from scratch but cant get it to work. This has to be in the middle for you to hear everything. if you want to mute your game so you can hear Discord better it has to go to the right in the blue. Messing with the Dial while Sonar is open allows you to see it move back and forth.

I need help with a recurring behavior on my SteelSeries Apex 9 Mini keyboard.
This is not a hardware defect, but a reproducible software/state issue.

Problem description:
Sometimes, after an unknown key combination, the keyboard enters a mode where:

Pressing ESC acts like Win + D (minimizes all windows / shows desktop)

Pressing TAB switches between open applications (Alt + Tab / Task View behavior)

Typed characters are incorrect or behave as if a modifier key is held

The important part:

No physical key is stuck

FN / SteelSeries key toggles do not fix it

Only a full Windows restart restores normal behavior

Unplugging and replugging the keyboard does NOT fix it

It's only been doing it a week and all my other Bluetooth devices are fine on mobile. The headset works great on pc all the time and on mobile when not in call on discord

in theory you can use streamer mode in Sonar and set personal mix to one headset and stream mix to the other. but beyond that I don't know of a way to send audio to more than two headsets without external programs or crazy workarounds

ok..... for me there is no way to get nearly the same sound out of both devices. And also on the Pro, there is no way to use the Chatmix. What happened here ? This Feature was so fantastic and now its just as it wasnt there .......

Good afternoon Gentlemen and Ladies.
Just looking for some support/advice.

I own Arctis 7 Pro Wireless, and I'm having an issue where every time I go to turn on my headset it will no longer detect and connect to the PC/Dongle. SteelSeries GG says "Reconnect Headset". Usually have to do a full power off of the headset, restart the PC and then power back on (even this sometimes doesn't work).
How do I fix this issue? Only been happening since a firmware update about a month ago.

It feels really comfortable. You don't really feel it cooling, but you feel it not heating up, if that makes sense. It feels very high quality, for that 30 bucks it's really nice. But I'm testing it long-term now

I am experiencing an issue with my Apex 5 keyboard. It randomly disconnects, mainly while I am gaming.

I had this issue four days ago. I uninstalled the keyboard through the Device Manager and reinstalled it, and the problem disappeared. Unfortunately, it has returned today.

Each time it disconnects, I have to unplug and plug the keyboard back in for it to work again. This is becoming very frustrating, especially when the disconnections happen repeatedly within a few minutes.

I also tested using my PC without the SteelSeries application installed, but the issue still persists.
To make sure the problem is not coming from my computer, I connected another keyboard and did not experience any issues.
I also tried changing the USB ports for both my mouse and keyboard, but the problem remains the same.

Whenever I boot up my computer, the microphone only picks up distorted, highly unusable input - since you mentioned I enabling it I tried disabling xhci to see if anything changes. The result is that the microphone doesn't pick up anything at all after booting so I will change that back when I remember to.

Hi, I have a Rival 3 Wireless Gen 2 and I think it might be defective.

The mouse is quite new, but I'm having issues with clicks. Sometimes it doesn't register when I click on icons, and other times it clicks on its own or releases when I'm holding the button.

I've already tried changing batteries, using different USB ports, and reconnecting the dongle, but the issue still happens.

The scroll wheel LED is white and the mouse is connected via the USB dongle (2.4 GHz).

Hello, I recently bought the arctis nova 7 gen 2 for my pc. Since I have the dongle plugged in my pc automatically switches to sonar audio every time I start it up. Is there a way to still default to my speakers then I can change the audio source to my headset when I actually turn it on? Or, better yet, is there a way to have it default to my speakers then automatically swap to my headset once I turn it on?

When I start a stream on Discord and share my full display (“Screen 1”), my friends can hear their own voices through my stream, like an echo or audio loop. However, when I share a specific application window instead of the full screen, they do not hear their own voices. The problem only happens when sharing the entire display.

My current setup:

Headset: SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

SteelSeries Sonar enabled

Discord input device set to SteelSeries Sonar Microphone

Windows Stereo Mix is disabled

I use headphones, not speakers

Discord echo cancellation is enabled

It seems like Discord call audio is being routed back into the stream mix when I share my display, but I cannot find which setting in Sonar is causing this.

Could you please help me check the correct Sonar Mixer or Stream routing settings to prevent Discord chat audio from looping back into my screen share?

Hi everyone, I need help with my Rival 3 Wireless.
The mouse is detected by SteelSeries GG and all the buttons work, but the cursor doesn’t move at all.

What I already tried:
• changed batteries
• cleaned the sensor
• reinstalled SteelSeries GG
• reconnected the dongle
• tested different USB ports
• reset the mouse

The problem is the same on another PC so it looks like the sensor isn’t sending any movement data. Is there anything else I can try, or is the sensor likely dead?

Try setting all your keys to the main colors @quick tartan - Red, Green and Blue. Look out for keys that turn off

Imagine having to pay $10 to get support for a software tied to equipment that we already spent a good amount of money on.

I used to love Steelseries, I even gifted a pair of the Nova Pro 7x to a friend (to match mine), but this is getting ridiculous. I am TIRED of having to constantly troubleshoot audio issues arising from this dog shi software.

Literally am having an issue rn where my audio just... stopped.. randomly.

These are products for gamers, and yet we can just have random audio issues where audio feedback stops at random and refuses to come back.

You know what made it randomly stop? I was trying to identify why my moments clips since last night have been capturing with effectively zero audio (despite, at that time, being fine through my speakers), and restarted GG

I've tried toggling Sonar on/off, configuring the audio settings, I even disabled Sonar, closed GG, and switched to the raw "speaker" output... nothing. I am getting ZERO audio.

The last time this happened I was forced to restart my entire PC to fix it, I'm about done with this company.

Just out of curiousity, I just turned on my headphones, and sound immediately started playing through them, turned them back off (let sonar auto switch back to speakers)... nothing.

And yes, obviously the speaker is on.

Hey, I had the problem that the app wouldn't open anymore and I tried to fix it without uninstalling but didn't have any luck so I went and uninstalled. But I did use a uninstaller and left all the files and also backed them up and after reinstalling my audio settings and presets were gone and I couldn't find a way to restore my old settings. I did not dig too deep yet though because I currently don't have much time and just want it fixed as fast as possible. So I thought I might get a quick answer here! Hi, I'm new here. We have a SteelSeries Arctis Pro Sonar headset that continually stops working. Usually every time windows has an update. This is extremely aggravating and the same steps dont fix it. We switch it to sonar, we switch it to default, we've changed settings in discord, windows, advanced sound settings, we've uninstalled and reinstalled the Steelseries GG app, but it CONSTANTLY happens that either the sound does not come in, or it will work on a browser and not discord, and the mic always stops working as well. We need a solid fix for this so we dont have to deal with this every single time there's an update. Is there anything we can do? Is this the reality of using SteelSeries Sonar and it will happen until we change to something else? We also have another computer with an Arctis Nova 7X that NEVER has issues. Please help!!

This is the error I get everytimg I use discord. It wasn't there before, it is not letting my microphone to be recorded when I save videos for some reason.

Also, sometimes the audio is not being recorded when I save the videos.

the error is saying discord MIGHT not allow changing the output, as in routing the audio. that error always appears since discord is one of the apps that has it's own audio settings that override sonar routing. from your screenshot, everything looks fine, so you should check settings else where to figure out why your mic isn't being recorded (i.e what audio devices do you have set to be recorded in your recording app?)

In the first screenshot, the system is not picking up the microphone from discord. I have checked all the discord settings and applied it but it is not working at all.

In the second screenshot, The mic is picking up normally (this was like 2 months ago) but now it is refusing to pick it up at all

I don't use a hub, and tried other ports. I followed all the basic info they had on the site, just didn't do anything. Sadly it doesn't have a detachable cable, it's a little older.

After updating my Apex Pro Mini Wireless to firmware 2.5.26.0 (GG 105.0.0), the RGB backlight turns completely off when no key is being pressed. All effects (Static, Breathing, ColorShift, etc.) only activate while I am actively pressing a key, then immediately switch off when idle.

I have already:

Recreated profiles from scratch

Set a new default profile

Uninstalled SteelSeries GG and tested without the software

Rebooted the PC

The behavior persists even with GG completely removed, which suggests this may be firmware-related.

Has anyone else experienced this issue after the latest firmware update?

Maybe this type of headphones are designed to works better on the PC, and doesn't support media device with...let's say....fast Bluetooth connection without the real pairing connection. Am I right or wrong?

• if you have a 7X, make sure the mode switch on the dongle is set to USB mode
• try to avoid USB hubs and connect dongle directly to PC.
