Ok super random question/realization. A major downside of OLED screens is screen burn-in, and the downside of LCD displays is not having true blacks. So, why don't they take a white-only OLED screen and use it as the backlight for an LCD panel? I think that'd solve both issues

I mean, a server network I worked on had two independent servers and dev teams, on one hand there was a staff of the first server, they communicated with their player base, they were making concepts which players were suggesting, but for now no one plays this server, on other hand, there is the second server staff, which hide updates and releases, and it is pretty popular on this server network, for me this example sounds like isolation of developers > communication with a player base

Well, is the same thing like with other development, isolation from the final user base is a stupid decision, as well as unfiltered contact. Their might be multiple reasons why one server does better than another an correlation is not necessarily causation, you may consider one thing. If you have a dev team that continuously asks the players for feedback and implements as much as possible, it is most likely that players will request changes that makes part of a game easier for them. Like easier way to gain resources, removing some annoying mechanics, other stuff what makes their life easier ... – you may believe that is a good thing, but is not, it will make gaming boring on a long term view. Players may be happy in first place but than get bored and play smth else.

On the other side, feedback may help you do smooth out real annoying stuff or implement interesting features. You just need somebody who can predict the result

Yeah, try some scrum model with one master but in this case not for developing but for feedback. Should have good knowledge about the game, should filter out stupid suggestion before passing them to devs and than may have periodical meetings where you discuss interesting suggestions. You can always give any idea back to the user base and let them vote (like real MC also does) before you finally implement big things

I can not predict that. Depends on the way you wanna handle it and on the size of your team. A lot of big companies run multiple development teams and have internal competition and reevaluate results after a time and adapt the structure. That can result in something great or may totally flop or smth in between 😄 but I don't know a lot who take out that competition to the customers, except for some marketing purpose. If you wanna run two different concepts and divide a user (player) base you must find reasons to join both sides. None of them should sound way better than the other, you most likely have to sell both concepts and make players decide and than also identify themselves with their decision.

But that is just my opinion and may be wrong

It's a multistage container where it has one build stage then produces two final containers using pieces of that build

Now I'm pushing the build stage to our container registry and pulling it before doing a build
