Also if GO had the option for manual GC I'd like that along with other tuned GC's. You can use CGO to basically do everything in C/C++ and use the manual memory management from there but then what's the point and there is overhead in calling functions from C -> GO and vice versa.

Rust is a great language and the benchmarks obviously show that, whatever language works best and is practical should be used.
