#1 DXVK_HDR=1 enables hdr support in vulkan according to https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases - I think this also applies under linux, in case you can run the game there from vulkan, too.

I've just tried copying my friend's 'GameUserSettings.ini' file, as mine can't even get to the point of generating one.
I changed 'AmdFsrMode=1' to 'AmdFsrMode=0' and 'bUseD3D12InGame=True' to 'bUseD3D12InGame=False', however it still has the same issue and just won't launch, keeps putting the DXGI_DEVICE_REMOVED error in the log, mentioning D3D12.
I have a GTX 1080, so there's no option to set FSR at driver level.

that would explain the issue, your GPU is way below minimal recommendation. It might have worked in the past but there's not really a fix for non-supported hardware.

ok so there is this weird bug that has been happening to not only me but others as well, sometimes while playing aquarq extraction missions, if you die and get revived your character kind of has a mental breakdown.
like starts shaking violently, unable to interact with stuff, not being able to damage and clipping through the mobile depository.
checked in with a teammate and this is def not a specs issue, i'm running on a laptop and he's got a decent pc.

If you jump through the hoop in barrel drop it breaks prop hunt. Friend jumped in as seeker and we couldnt play prop hunt anymore, the rest of us were stuck as objects.

Hey, I just went on a long grind to try and unlock all the weapon frameworks, but I encountered a problem/bug? I finally got the message that my cargo crate was empty, but upon checking all my weapons, I'm still missing 5 weapon frameworks. All of them are Scale Brigade frameworks and they are for the following weapons:

• Boomstick
• Warthog
• Stubby
• Lok-1
• Sludge Pump

Is this just me, or is anyone else missing these skins?

Might be a better place to post this. I noticed that the Robotic Appendage from the caretaker do not catch fire when in the trail of a Hellfire Coil Gun. I'm pretty sure they aren't immune to fire since CRSPR works fine.

Note: My coil gun build is 23122 so I'm sure I'm doing full charge shots.

I can't make a bug in the other channel, so I'm going to list it here:
Twice today a drop pod has left without everyone in it for me. Once in a group mission, and once on a solo mission.

Both people left behind were Drillers, both were in very close proximity to the escape can when it took off.

In our group mission, the Driller was behind the pod making her way around. In my solo mission just now, I was right beside the door when the gangplank retreated and it left me behind.

The solo mission counted as a failure because of it :(

When you are in the spacerig(skip the tutorial) you can try the Restore Save feature in Options -> Save Menu -> Restore Save.
That should give you a list of cloud saves to choose and restore from.

can someone help confirm if using seeker rounds on LOK1 the 20% fulllock bounes would get reduced by medium & heavy armour

Testing 11112 seeker rounds on an oppressor, shooting directly at the weakpoint does 32.4 per shot while shooting through armor does 27 (both with full locks)

(so 20% bonus is lost when hitting unbreakable armor)
This also happens with stingtail/brundle/praetorian so it happens on both heavy and unbreakable armor

Crassus shot in the armor takes 29.1 per full locked shot but 27 without full locks

So maybe the t5b bonus is being reduced by the armor (20% bonus damage * 40% not blocked by crassus armor, rounded to one decimal point, gives 2.1 which makes the total 29.1)

Sometimes you can, but it's hard. Try destroying terrain and placing platforms around yourself if possible

And sometimes you're doomed to be stuck forever

If the pipeline hasn't been connected to the pumpjack yet you can get someone to destroy it

I drilled around and waited to get downed, until I got back up for a warden and a praetorian to push me out of the pipe... That was a close call, it's my first time being able to unstuck myself from that 😅

does anyone know how to fix this bug? If found myself getting disconnected from almost every drg game I play. I know for a fact its not my wifi since im usually calling with friends. What will happen is that i notice my game freezes. I can still move and shoot, but the terrain cant be edited and everyone is frozen. Then I will be disconnected and usually never get asked to join back in. It can happen anywhere from 2 minutes to 30 minutes and I have found no solutions for fixing it.

Do you know if the host's game is still up? normally when that happens, its either that the host game closed, or perhaps something else is going on with your connection. The symptons you describing is 100% related to you or your hosts connection, so we just need to figure out where the problem might be 🙂 DRG runs on P2P, so it is entirely possible that you can be on void chat with someone and still experience issues ingame related to the connection

The hosts game will still be up. It’s possible it could be my internet because it only affects me but I don’t notice disconnection of wifi for anything else. It’s also only whenever I interact with something. If I don’t press e I’ll remain in, so that’s why I think it’s a bug

It's not reload upon kill, but after you kill an enemy you get a temporarly increased reload speed. The fear upgrade has a chance of ocurring. + some enemies have fear resistance lowering the chance

Ok I've acquired an at least temporary fix for now. I verified the game files and set the launch options from Deep Rock Galactic to Deep Rock Galactic (DirectX12)

You just cant launch drg from anywhere outside of steam (taskbar, desktop, etc)

Hey so, I have an issue which I still don't know how the hell it happens- So basically, uh.
Sometimes when I'm playing the game, the audio decides to become real fucked up as in, gets to ear-hurting levels.

Kinda like an earrape audio, you know?
Like, for some reason, it just randomly happens and it is scary as hell because I always keep the volume down, and again, it is loud as hell.

I don't have a video or proof of what I'm trying to describe, but maybe someone else here shares my issue-

-confirmed that it is allowed through firewall
-confirmed VPN connection status makes no difference (on/off/different regions/etc)

has anyone here ever experienced remote access hack while playing the game

today was the third time it happened, where suddenly someone else seemed to be moving my mouse, and pressing buttons, and tried to close out of the game

when i then closed out of the game and tried to go to task manager, the mouse kept trying to go to the windows menu and do something ( i never found out what)

the only solution i have found to this is completely shutting off my computer for a little while, then restarting, and it doesn't happen until the next random time im playing drg

Just hit a Kursite Grinder machine event, if you hold down deposit while delivering a kursite chunk it ticks up twice, it happened consistently every time and quite literally halved the event

hey i am relatively new to DRG its a really fung game i just barely encountered a bug where i joined a random game server as a driller and then for somereason i just stopped taking any dmg of anykind. I also randomly have super long jumps and i randomly throw lamps super far(i dont have that perk equipped). I had my teammates shoot me, intentionally fall from great heights, stood next to a bulk, stood under supply drop site, my own c4. none of them did any dmg to me. not to my shield not to my health. What might be the reason for this?

i dont have the game recorded but yeah, super weird. and what is weirder is at the very end of the mission count down for extraction, i had my teammates shoot me for minutes. and i took no dmg, then at 60 second coutn down, all the suddent i started taking dmg and then i downed instantly from friendly fire. which then i used iron will and just finished the mission.

I haven't found this in the bugs - did anyone else stumble upon a situation where a large meteor lands and you order the cracking tools, but the meteor instantly afterwards cracks and you can take the hearts? As if it's skipping the whole cracking phase. I could see it as a workaround for when the cracking pods calculated they have nowhere to land or sth. It happened twice for me at this point.

Don't have perms to make a post about it in #1037308906516521010 so I'm posting here, but I just had the most frustrating mission of my life, I was doing a solo alien egg (8 eggs) collection mission as scout with lithophage and critical weakness modifiers in the fungus bogs and about half way through I started becoming randomly unable to interact with anything, glyphids, molly, resupply, cleansing pod, I couldn't even interact with the drop pod at the end and phased right through the green zone to enter, yet the glyphids could interact wth me just fine and killed me enough to cause me to fail the mission, is this a well known bug? I got a small bug with the Kursite Infection event, using a mod that auto sprints for you, and when you deposit the Kursite crystal things it'll sprint and count it as two somehow. Not sure how reproduceable it is withought having it instantly sprint.

Just recently had a game as the engineer using the plastcrete catalyst weapon overclock for the shard diffractor. Shooting the platform enough causes an explosion occur. Continuing to fire should cause multiple explosions to happen but instead stopped after the first explosion, while keeping my finger on the trigger. I think I figured out what happened. I did load in but the loading screen was still on my screen. That would explain the ability to open the status menu and the vibrations when I pressed the right trigger, it was my gun shooting

Hello everyone, I'm a brand new drg player and have been experiencing constant crashes on Microsoft store version of the game.
If someone can help me solve this I would very very grateful, as the game is unplayable right now.

Pc specs are:

• AMD Ryzen 5700x CPU
• AMD 6700xt GPU
• Two 16gb 3200mhz sticks of Ram (making a total of 32gb of ram)

Potentially important other info:

• My graphics driver are up to date

• I used Razor Synaps software. I heard this can cause problems with drg, haven't tested yet.

• I'm running ultra settings on drg

• My thermals are fine, my PC is running really cool and the frame rate is well over 200fps.

• No PC overclocks enabled

Symptoms

• When the games crashes, it's as if I just closed the window

• No error code

• Usually no warning, however sometimes the game stutters for a second before crashing

• if try to open the game immediately after it crashes, it often crashes immediately again while loading

• crashes occur between every 20 and 40 minutes

• Crashes with slightly higher frequency when its starting VS when the game is fully started

Things I have tried

• I have verified the game files

• I have reinstalled the game

• I have restarted my computer several times

• I have reinstalled and updated my graphics drivers

If anyone has any recommendations or experiences with crashing, please let me know and don't be afraid to ping me.

Having an issue with the Elite Deep Dive when playing with my friend.
Always, on the third mission, she gets a black loading screen and has to open task manager to abort the game.
This happens every week, third or fourth in a row now, and we can't figure out what's the issue.

Intermittently getting a weird freeze when I go to swing my pickaxe at random minerals on Xbox. This might be due to the quick resume state keeping the game suspended instead of actually shutting it down for long periods of time:

I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but I agree: I've only had to deal with an unreachable drop pod once, but it's the worst feeling and puts the point of mission failure at the end of what may have been a long mission already.

I understand wanting to build excitement and tension and whatnot, but you already get plenty of that from having to escape/combat a swarm of bugs while trying to make your exit. Realizing that it will take you a good 5+ mins of tunneling to get to the pod when you have 1.5 mins left and bugs chewing your ass the whole way just makes me want to put the game down for a while.

Hello there folks. I have a Cargo Crate related bug

Already reported it a week ago on the official website, but I thought it wouldn't hurt checking in here

I have missing Cargo Crate frameworks but whenever I find Cargo Crates, the game says I have them all. It happened twice out of two instances. I had the same issue for months with Lost Gear loot, but that got fixed somewhat recently and I had no mods while I had this issue. Missing items: Fourth Relic for the GK2, Stubby, Revolver. Scale Brigade for Stubby, Autocannon, Revolver, GK2. Glyphid Trophy Hunter for Cryo, PGL, Revolver. Custom Engineered for Stubby, Warthog. Neon Band for EPC, PGL.

I'm using mods since a few weeks ago but I had the same problem with Lost Gear loot for several months before using mods. So I don't suspect mods being the problem, because I had the same issue without them for a long time. I hvae 1100+ hours in DRG and being cut off from CargoCrate loot is a sad experience

There are. Proton VPN has a free tier with relatively good speeds. While Mullvad is not free, it’s cheap and does exactly what it says it’ll do without issue.

For everyone having an issue with infinite terms of use loading:
It was found out, indeed, that the trouble is in the connection to mod.io.
Current solution is:
You have to download VPN for your PC (not browser), turn it on and open game.
Modding tab wil work as usual after that.
However, you dont need to play with VPN on, you only need to manage yours mods with it.
You can download/disable/enable your mods, turn off the game, disable VPN and go back in.
After that all mods will work even with that "terms of use" screen.
I personally recommend using PlanetVPN. Its free and is just enough to manage your mods.

I have been reading a bunch of channels and have read the Welcome channel. I'm hoping this is where we report bugs in addition to discussing them?
I searched the channel with the key terms "invite friends" and found this #bug-discussion message
but I am/was online and visible on steam. So it doesn't really solve my issue.
I always start solo games as "private, friend's only" in case friends decide they would like to play/join at a later time. The problem is that whenever I "host" a game, no one is able to join, nor are they able to receive invites. I've tried inviting several friends that were both in (had the game open) and out of the game. I would try inviting them via the steam friends list (right clicking their name and inviting), via discord, via in game (esc, c, choosing the friend (both with "friends only" checked and unchecked)). I've tried going offline and then back online on my steam profile and that didn't do much. Inviting people to games doesn't do anything- meaning that there isn't an "invited to game" message in the steam friends chat and there isn't an "invited!" notification when inviting via drg. Is there something I have to do to enable friend invites or is this just a reoccurring bug for me?

There are three main stats: Dwarf level, Season Level, and Player Level.
Each give you unique rewards per level, with Player level giving a money boost (if I recall correctly) and bragging rights.

I started a mission to rescue the mules, a detonator arrived, well, I guess it doesn’t happen to anyone, it’s not such a problem. I started to establish contact with the station and a DETONATOR came to me, maybe I need to fix this somehow? how should I stand in the field to keep in touch and fight off the detonator that came out right at the beginning of this field. I play on 5 hazard.

the answer would be cheats : whether you used them yourselves or someone gifted them to you without you noticing.

I'm using a PS4 controller for the game and for some reason I can't hold the right trigger down to shoot continuous weapon like the gunner's gatling

I also couldn't use the Terrain Scanner as well

should I enable Steam Input to fix this?

you can restore save but you have to leave the tutorial before

there's a button to skip it, in the top right corner, as shown in your screenshot

In a sabatoge run, if one of the power stations falls while you're loading, your game may not count it, and the primary objective will always be one step behind.

Upon beating the level, you'll get no exp for primary objective, despite it normally being impossible to beat a level without doing the primary. You still get assignment progress if it was an assignment level.

anyone else having a bug with jumps? seems like I jumped and hit my head on a ceiling, or like I jumped and my feet are glued to the ground, it happens at random. so I have to press space 2x to actually jump, it can be seen some times in this clip

my friend suggested that may be my keyboard, but if were then probably wouldn't try to jump and get back on the ground, and then my ping, but 30-50ms is a pretty good ping
