Honestly I think the only thing people are upset about is a lack of rollback so far. I totally get servers go down, there's nothing the devs can do about that. But people will be mad if they don't roll back because a solid month of work went into the eastern front not to mention Colonials getting screwed out of their so far stalwart defense of the West. The whole game is built on the idea of a persistent war that you can have a cumulative impact on and that is completely under cut by a server issue deciding multiple fronts overnight.

Excellent News. Sorry that it took a full PC reset, but it sounds like if that's what it took something was really, really strange with windows and this might fix other issues.

If you have windows on a really old hard drive it may be worth getting a new one to transfer everything to, just in case. But that might be me just overthinking stuff.

Yeah this games keybinding system is kinda meh. It doesn't allow duplicate keybinds yet has duplicate keybinds bound to one key

So, I can’t use voice chat for some reason. I press u to have it enabled and then press t but it doesn’t work.
I tried the steam thing but that hasn’t fixed it and I have confirmed that the game is using the same input device as my laptop is. When I test the input device on my computer it works but in the game and on steam it doesn’t.
The device I have is the Realtek(R) Microphone Array on the legion 7. Any advice on what might be the problem?
Edit: also, I do have the microphone enabled everywhere, the computer says that foxhole is using the microphone when the game is on, and everything like that

its not that the api is slow its the adding and removing reactions is actually one of the largest rate limits in the api with 300/300s and the bot likely waits till the reaction is removed to give the role

also likely longer as discord likes to limit your bot when you do a specific action for long periods of time

We no longer provide faction unlock requests. If you are a new player and under level 5, you have one free faction unlock which you can access from the faction select screen on the top-right corner. If you are over level 5, or you have already exercised your free faction unlock, then you will need to wait until a new war to pick a new faction.

Most wars last between 3-4 weeks. When a war is won, it enters into "Resistance Phase" for 1-3 days. After this, a new war is started and all faction locks are reset.

Now, days later even after sleeping, if I join Squad B, C, D, whatever, my voice chat is in Squad A, my squad menu is in B/C/D and my squad text chat is also in B/C/D. Does anyone know if there is a logs directory? I get a lot of the "Connection Lost: Your connection to the host has been lost" messages 30s-1m after deploying, and it makes the game unplayable on the front line, and really annoying as logi because I can't find my work truck after I disconnect. The Voice output isn't working for me, this problem started a day after the start of the current war.
I receive no error on reconnect.
The output is turned all the way up.
I see the mic icon lighting up on other players, but hear nothing.

The game still freezes for a bit, but as long as I wait about 30s, it usually catches back up. If I take from a base or switch weapons etc while it’s frozen, I’ll get disconnected, but if I wait patiently doing nothing, I won’t.
Makes fighting in the frontline hard. If my player dies, I have to respawn from home.

Seems better after the update today, but that might not be related.

When your setup is bad that a player without joining one faction cannot ascend to another. The Voice output isn't working for me, this problem started a day after the start of the current war.
I receive no error on reconnect.
The output is turned all the way up.
I see the mic icon lighting up on other players, but hear nothing.
Reconnect doesn't help.
Turning it on and off doesn't work.
Refreshing devices doesn't work.
The devices are set correctly.
Any other sounds work perfectly.
And Voice on discord also works perfectly fine.

Regiments are larger groups that are identified by their clan tag, they don’t really have to work with each other in every region but do bigger ops, more than just a small group

Try it, the redist in foxhole files and the steam redistributables are not the same thing as far as im concerned. Since steam either assumes you already have some things or the game just doesnt tell steam it needs them

Hey everyone I have been playing for a few months and I seem to have an error when attempting to aim. It only happens in Foxhole I have been trying to replicate it in other games or on my desktop. Yo guys i started playing again some days ago. Everything was fine at first but now i'm having big issues with voice chat. My mic is working well the first minutes of playing and just stop working after some time. I tried some things i saw online (clearing some steam files...) but nothing seems to work. When i unplug and replug my headset, the mic is working again for some minutes but stop working again.

i think there is a 15 min grace periode to change side but once the 15 min is down you are lock in the faction even before deploy. I think the ''timer'' start as soon as you enter the home island of that faction

reverifying steam files. Turning it off and on again. turning my computer off and on again. Turning wifi off and on again.

deleting vivox core library

changing the dns thing (just caused my computer to not connect to anything)

turrning voice chat on and off

selecting different settings in in-game voice chat

and discord voice chat works fine for me

I played a game of csgo, voice chat works fine for me

For one, you've done all the troubleshooting we can help you with, past that point there's nothing more we can do. Separately, discord voice and CSGO voice chat working has no relation to why Foxhole voice isn't - they use completely different systems.

There's a couple options which could be causing it, and since it doesn't seem to be a global issue currently, it's most likely either on your end or your ISP's end. Vivox (the voice provider) is fully online currently.

The options are:

1. Something in your internet settings (Did you make sure SIP ALG is disabled on your router?) is causing your internet to refuse the packet type
2. Something in your internet settings is causing Vivox to refuse your packets.
3. Something in the middle, likely your ISP if you're using their DNS, is causing the packets to mis-route or to be garbled.
