Do not worry @sturdy cape, sometime, beccause of connection or similar stuff the game thinks you are using another profile, as long as you do not have alt in the other faction it's all right

Well you get to pick your faction as long as you are not faction locked to one faction. The faction lock happens when you play for more than 6 minutes on one faction.

Hello. I think your graphics card may be underperforming. Try using the integrated intel graphics from your processor. the integrated graphics "HD Graphics 630" that your processor has seems to be stronger than the graphics card. Also if you have 2 screens try disconnecting one of them (preferably, keep the one of the graphics you will use.)

Here is a picture showing the calculated FPS you should get using one or the other graphics unit.

Top one is your graphics cardd the GeForce GT 730
Bottom is your processor's integrated graphics "HD Graphics 630".

As you can see the integrated graphics seems to be stronger.

You can also try to update your drivers. The drivers of your intel graphics are also important. You can update your drivers from the intel website automatically.

Im unsure about the GT 730's drivers but you can probably google it or check the box.

rank 3? do you mean level 3? because rank and level are 3 different þings, you need ranks to get map marker access and you need levels to get more commends to spend on oþer people

you might wonder "how do I rank up?" you rank up by getting commends, þese commends have to be given by anoþer player, and people tend to give commends when you help 'em out. So if you want rank of Cpl you should do logi for 30 minutes or be just a very helpful person on þe frontline.

Game says I was playing on an alternate account (I'm not, I'm playing on the same steam account that I purchased the game with and even played it when the game was FTP early access). Yes, a hash lock is possible. In Foxhole thats already active. BUT he asked for a IP block thats not possible as Steam does not share the IP of the User, atleast I think thats the case.

Even hashlocks can be bypassed by different PC and Steam Account.

If you don't have your rank then that means Steam or Foxhole thinks you are playing on another account... try restarting Steam if you haven't and make sure you are playing on the same account

Does the game say your time in war is also 0?

This means there is a network connection issue when talking to the Foxhole servers. Although I'm really not sure how you got into the Home Region if that's the case

Why would DNS be the issue?
DNS is used when services like VoIP are trying to resolve where to send the audio traffic and where to recieve audio traffic from. Certain DNS providers and ISPs have the incorrect information where to send traffic, causing Error Codes in game such as [8]-6.
How do I fix this?
Following this Article form How-To Geek
Add 8.8.8.8 as the primary and 8.8.4.4 as the secondary(Google DNS). If you'd prefer to use a different one than Google, use 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 (OPEN DNS)

Try starting cmd in administrator mode and type

sfc /scannow

This will scan for broken system files and repair them

Sounds like an FPS stutter near towns / cities, which is explainable because there's more objects to load in those cities. Are you running on the lowest graphics setting already?

@inner basin yeah ive got graphics settings all at the lowest, thing is it ran perfectly before this update. also it doesnt really feel like lag it feels more glitchy, its hard to describe the suttering but its just very glitchy. an example of this happening was i spawned at a relic base and it was doing it, walked only 5 seconds away from it and its gone and FPS is fine, go back to it, FPS is fine but the stuttering thing is there.

i've reinstalled the game, verified cache, i'll delete all game files and reinstall now tho and see if that works

Can anyone help me? Yesterday I removed my old hdd that was starting to fail at write state; it had steam and foxhole, and I moved it's directory by copypasting it on to my win C drive. I reinstalled steam and it's steamworks redist stuff and my game just wouldn't boot; it was loading very slowly and I once I loaded on deploy map, I would get disconnect and connection refuse errors. I can't even travel to a specific region like deadlands on foot! Then I reinstalled foxhole and moved it to my sdd and it still persists. Even if I get deployed If I would get disconnected, it would crash my game with some microsoft .net error after. The game is running slow and lagging, even with SSD!!

I'd recommend trying a different game with Steam Sockets enabled on Proton as that would probably answer that question. (If it is Steam Sockets, not much the devs can do since that's a mostly steam thing)

Same, it only happened for me in the first 3 days of the war. I just rebooted game after verifying the files and it worked.

I did have a unique issue last night that I’ve never seen before:

I started game like normal and it was frozen for 5 minutes. After rebooting my computer, I loaded back in the game and it said it needed to install the game. Steam then searched for the installation files and found it was installed and I was able to get back in. I’ve never seen an instance where a game would uninstall or act as if it’s uninstalled in this case in my history of gaming.

it's common, I use a program called Cursor Lock to fix, but there's a few programs that'll do the same thing (cursor lock you need to follow the steam instructions, then instead of the war.exe as game process, find the location of the main running process in task manager by right clicking on it and open file location)

The HD Graphics 3000 igpu is quite old. Here is an image of what you can expect. I dont recommend even trying. I have an HD Graphics 630 which is quite newer and i still get between 15 and 30 fps. Although its playable with my setup.

Try going into steam > foxhole > local files
and then go to the folder War > Binaries > Win64. right click the War-Win64-Shipping.exe file and try changing the compatibility settings
specifically try enabling the option:
"disable optimisations for fullscreen"

Ingame go to options > sound and make sure your default output is set to the specific headphones/speakers OR its set to "system default" and NOT "system default communications device"

Make sure the resolution in options/options > video is the exact same as your screen resolution. it could be off by even 16 pixels and could be causing that problem. If this doesnt work try switching between borderless window and fullscreen

Could be a missing texture perhaps. Try verifying files (do it twice to avoid steam common error of not detecting anything) and also try checking for driver updates (if you have a gpu AND an integrated card update both of them)

Basically Foxhole uses a 3rd party voip system known as VIVOX and sometimes it just fucks up

I've seen other people have had this error, but mine has been going on for two weeks and nothing works. I've restarted the game, I've restarted Steam, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I disabled my firewall, verified game files, ran Steam as an admin, switched between LIVE and Internal servers, and tried Steam in offline and online mode. I am out of ideas on what it could be.

Either that or try to reinstall (verify game file works too)

Its just lets me in the game, then i play for like 5 mins and then get disconnected from the server with "failed to authenticate"..
