I remember years ago when steam servers would go down other games would make similar complaints. If the game can't reach the server to check VAC I think it just assumes you're banned.

So yesterday we stole tanks after the reboot, it cried, and the mods reTP them tanks in the minutes and now it's a bug of the game and we have to wait for days while it's your servers that do not know how to manage a map change?

It could be a problem with the way sound devices work. If your "output device" in game is set to "default system device" try changing it to "default communications device" or an specific device if you know the name of your headphones/speakers. You can also try
going into your windows hotbar

second click your sounds button
click "sound mixer"
click the icon of your speakers
go to advanced options
activate or disable "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"
or
enable/disable "sound enhancement"

i'm having the issue, that the mouse always leaves my game to my second monitor, which is above my main one. this doesn't happen when i'm in right-click aim mode but all other times it does. game is set to fullscreen, googling didn't really get me anything useful except for installing third party tools to lock the mouse on one screen. is there a fix?

Generally speaking, the default DNS settings in NIC are not ideal for gaming.

Changing the DNS settings are OS dependent-- However, once you locate Primary & Secondary addresses, you will want to use Google Secure DNS addresses below:

8.8.8.8 (Primary)
8.8.4.4 (Secondary)

Once you've changed these settings, restart your system.

Additionally, changing the Router DNS settings are equally critical. Search your Router manual (or, look it up online), and switch your DNS Server addresses accordingly.

I already play with the google dns servers(also tried other servers) so that isn't the issue. I can't change the DNS servers for the router as the provider doesn't allow it to be changed sadly. I've uninstalled the game so we'll see if a fresh install fixes it.

Not really. Have you tried pinging the server, and looking at Tracert readout?

I have similar issue better described as "Connection Lost" randomly within the game. I've read that it has something to do with the Firewall and the Antivirus software. But I spent a lot of trying to add exceptions, tweaks, restarts, reinstalls and nothing seem to work. Let's be honest, I play other games and they don't ask to adjust either Firewall or Antivirus settings. I wonder how prevalent this connection issue is. It is annoying as the game is almost unplayable to me, which is sad.

Thanks for that info - in that case I can still have hope 😯 I spent 2h yesterday trying to get it to work and never managed. Interestingly enough, I was also not able to hear anybody else using VOIP in-game (couldn't see any speaker signs above their characters either), which made me think nobody had VOIP working. Maybe that's a clue though as to why it doesn't work for me

So I bought a new wireless mouse and since then I've not been able to use 'RotateCameraRight' on one of the side buttons but only when aiming. Strangly 'RotateCameraLeft' still works.
When I'm not aiming I am able to rotate both ways just fine

Foxhole crashing - assistance would be appreciated.

Initially my game would crash when loading into a region (once I spawned at a town hall for example)

Now foxhole is crashing when trying to load to the main menu, which was not happening before.

My game has never suffered such a thing until today & my computer can run & handle foxhole fine & has done for a long time now.

I’ve tried reinstalling, checking drivers for updates, verifying the foxhole files & more!

Please help!

(Note; other games like for example - Skyrim - are running fine & do not crash & both load from steam, this seems to be only an issue with foxhole)

Hi, so upon launching into the game just now I was able to move around the homeregion for a few seconds before being hit with a "VAC check failed, update steam and try again". Problem is, my account has good VAC standing:

This isent true, HoC has reported him during our own issues with him, it is now the wider community that takes issue with this troll/griefer. V/82/ONE/Pretty much every major clan has decided hes a troll and a griefer and they are banning him, not us. Mods dont exist ingame anymore, self policing is the tool Clapfoot gave the community and the community has decided BadmanLarry is a troll and needs to suffer social shaming. I cant fault them for that conclusion. Dude your stream is what turned people against you... V realised you were acting an arse, people from other groups recounted similar things you'd done in the past, and the minor drama attracted people to view your stream. A few then shared clips of your crew doing other arsey things like purposefully driving over peoples' trenches because you noticed a sign asking politely not to. Intentional griefing is against the game rules and the community at large don't take kindly to it because it dicks on people who have invested their time and effort into doing stuff, which turns away players from the faction or the game. Given that we don't have mods, the community polices itself - when you act like that and people notice and share it in WM, players from across the community disapprove and will likely report you next time they see you, prompting other people to follow suit.

Stop trolling and griefing people in-game and improve your behavior and this will stop happening. Just because you are a streamer does not give you special rights to shit on people, this is not hard to understand for anyone but you it seems.

The community is left to police themselves because of clapfoots terrible decision to remove in-game moderators, so this is whats going to happen everytime you log on it seems, a random clan with enough members in region will get you vote banned simply because a Vast majority of warden players are aware of your past actions and aren't going to just let you repeat them.

ah just in case i should note i was using proton-ge-custom 6.8_GE_1-1 and after changing to the steams normal 6.3 it started working

I don’t know if it only happens to me, but sometimes I only happen when I’m in the home region and I want to deploy. After a load time, I end up with the load screen and the sound of the game , but the load screen stay and I can play. Plus, I know the game works because when I click, I hear the sound of my punch (the VOUCH)

If you are having issues with voice chat including
-not being able to talk
-not hearing people
-your own mic cutting in/out
Know that foxhole has a finiky voice chat. I find that third party programs are much better as a backup line of communication. Many regiments have discords.

Hi ! We have a problem with boats, one of our BMS Ironship is stuck in the top of motorboat. We can move no one of them.
We can see the motorboat, but only a piece of it, we also tried to put some mammon on it, the IronShip took the damages, not the motorboat.

Its not though. Thats the entire point if you read above. MOST from shard 2 quit before the war even ended on shard 2. Most of that group didnt play on Shard 1 in the middle of the war.

I'm having voice chat problems. I'd load up the game and it works fine for about 10 minutes but then disconnects and can't rejoin without closing the game completely. Every time i try to rejoin from options it just says

"Voice chat lost connection: reconnecting
Voice chat error [2]2-5006

Have some issues with Foxhole atm.

Basically for some reason after I got my computer back since it broke. Apparently the game is 'Failing to Download Shard'
There isn't a announcement on the announcement board as well.
I've tried seeing to the port, Fixing the drive, and also reinstalling the game. Still hasn't resolved.

It's a network issue. Try to disable everything that could be preventing your computer from talking to Foxhole's servers.
