If u want to switch sides, u need to join the faction where your regiment is, disband it and log out. If u do this in under 6 min, u should be able to choose the other side then.

Why can't I sometimes see radio towers? I go out to builder radio towers and half the time they don't show up on map (not using secured map btw). This causes me to end up building radio towers where others just built radio towers as well so just wasted some early game resources and time...

Are you carrying a radio? Your map will only update if you have a radio. It also updates every time you press E on a spawn base.

Hello, I picked up the game with some friends and we made a Regiment on the Warden side last war. I was the one who created it, we decided to try collies this war to try out both sides. When they went to join collies they had the option to leave the Regiment to join, but when I click to join the Colonial side I do not have the option to leave. Am I stuck being Warden again or is there another way to leave my Regiment? I assume it won't let me leave because I had the leader position in it.

i believe you, but still. Im not a mod, so i cant say if one will be willing to let you change factions, but i personally dont think they will. If they make an exception to you now then it opens up the precedent for others to ask the same thing, and those others might not have good intentions like you do. If you just want some dudes to play with try joining a colonial regiment/clan for this war, and then when the war is over you can change sides and enter the regiment you wanted originally

If you're unable to wait until the next war, I have heard that if you're able to contact a moderator for the game, they can ban you for 24 hours (in order to make any Intel you've gained unusable) and after which you'll be able to switch factions. Marban Hallow disconnected when I was/we were trying to move with logi from Viper Pit. I got 3/3 attempts to reconnect then was asked to go back to main menu to redeploy.
My (and some other players) truck fully disappeared after Marban Hollow was up (can't find either in Viper, or in Marban) . My truck contained 1,000 Bmats, 1x crate of each Medical supplies (4x) +69 SS (yeah, picked them 1 by 1 from a BB in Viper). And the guy next to me had similar items as well.
Is there anything that can prevent this to happen in the future?

Hey, I am also having sound issues, but they do not seem to match with your descriptions. I do have the ambient music sound when launching the game, and also once I deploy at home base, but then a few seconds later, all sounds disconnect and I am unable to get any output in my headphones. I only manage to set the sounds settings so that the output is my default speakers. I have no idea whether the players who hear me (they do apparently) hear me from headphones or default mic.

Hi so I've been working on my own bunker base since the start of war 72. I'm finally able to upgrade the bunker base to T3, however due to some bad bunker placement choices, i can't get a CV close enough to press E to upgrade - all sides are covered with bunkers and trying to get close enough in the front will make it say 'area obstructed'. Any tips? apparently trying to destroy the problem bunkers isn't a thing and will just take down the whole bunker and get me weapon locked. I've basically griefed myself..

I played Foxhole a long time ago and newly saw it pop up in the featured section of steam again reminding me of the games existence. I figured I'd pick it up again to see how different it is but was surprised to find it wasn't in my steam library. Which then leads me to my question, did this used to be a free game before? Yep, you can play. Currently the war is in resistance phase. It's a mid-war phase where there are no specific goals. It's a continuation of the last war in a sense. The actual war will be starting tomorrow.

Well my issue was that i couldnt connect to server at all when i ran it through steam. When i ran it alone off desktop i connected fine. I also plan to play this on my gaming desktop once it is finished being refurbished.(just bought the game earlier today and playing on decent laptop)

Hello, I have a problem with my voice chat : I can't hear any player, and they can't hear me neither.
To fix it, I tried :

• Relaunch the game
• Uninstall/reinstall the game
• In the game options -> voice, I tried to change the devices, and to switch on/off every option + "Reconnect" and "Refresh devices"
• In the Steam overlay -> options -> voices, I tried again the different devices, and I also tested my micro (I can hear my voice, so my micro is working)
• I verified the integrity of games's files with Steam
• In the game, I tried joining a voice chat, and tried both "T" and "G"
• I saw on internet someone fixed the same bug by deleting the "cached" file on Steam, so I tried
• I changed my DNS address for 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
• I tried both with my 4G and Ethernet connection

None of these worked, and this bug is quite annoying. Do you have any idea of what I can try to fix this ?

Well, not entirely true, when you do 2 steam sales within a span of 2 months and there is a player influx of 300% after the first steam sale you would expect there to be a server load when after the first sale you already ran into alot of issues.. you dont need to be a rocket scientist to forsee what a 2nd sale as soon as it was would do

you could just increase the specs of the server but there is no telling if that will actually help it

most of the issues foxhole is currently experiencing is more then likely a limitation of the server software then the actual hardware
