am having a bit of trouble this update, when playing on high settings with my GTX 970, GPU usage is around 80% and FPS isnt great, 30~40. But then when I minimize the game the GPU usage goes to 99% and I can see that the game's FPS improves greatly, goes to around 54fps

Tried using fullscreen and borderless, but still, when in game FPS and GPU usage goes down, and when its minimized, GPU usage goes up

I had this issue, and for me it was that there were invisible barbed wires. The way I fixed it was just to restart the game, not sure if there are any other fixes.

Was enemy proximity voicechat disabled? I've not played Foxhole for ages and someone said that enemy can't hear us talk anymore. I've noticed enemy voice chat option to be turned off in the settings, but I've set mine to hear them I think.

If you are below Sgt rank and level 5, you are able to switch factions by clicking "Play" on the Main Menu and pressing "Switch" on top right of the screen.

If you do not meet this requirement, you will have to wait until the next war begins. You will get to pick your faction again then.

The cannot connect issue can be caused by a bunch of things, and a lot of the time the only thing that seems to work is waiting and coming back later. The general fixes that aren't that tend to be restarting steam and the game, restarting your PC, and restarting your router. Also making sure that your VPN is allowing connections if you're using one, or that your internet wouldn't be blocking these connections.

Yes which is a problem because if a squad is full you need to be invited to join it and Siege is full so we had to kick people so I could request to join, I believe the issue is I made a squad at the start of the war when everything was laggy / buggy and when I made a squad it bugged out, guess I will just have to wait for next war for it to be fixed :/

U put tech resources (aluminium, iron) into tech center choosing the tech in the tier. After certain amount of resources is put into the tech tier the tech with most of the resources put in it gets unlocked. The tech tree progresses and locks the other choice, until the whole tech tree comes around again. When it comes to vehicles, each vehicle has 3 tiers, depending when it is unlocked. For example, if u have luv, AC and APC in same tier, the first unlocked vehicle will be tier 1, will have basic stats. When the tech comes around the second unlocked vehicle will be tier 2, meaning it will have batter stats than the basic vehicle that is tier 1. If the tech tree manages to come around again and u unlock the last vehicle in that tier, that vehicle will be tier 3, having even better stats. I believe that these stats are currently just health of the vehicle.

There's been a lot of issues with the latest NVIDIA drivers for the 30 series cards causing stuttering, but if it looks like that it's most likely network based.

Don't know. I'm still leaning towards connection issue, but there's a couple things you can try.

First thing to try is to update your graphics drivers (if you've already done this, downgrade them 3 versions)
Second thing is to restart your modem and other internet related things.

Is there a reason of why decay is affecting structures even if connected with a trench connector to a Bunker Base? The base has both Garrison supplies and Bunker ones.

For the system settings you need to go to Settings -> Voice and make sure they're correct there.

For some people it works with what the game chooses automatically, other people need to specifically tell it what to use, while others need to specify system default.

Every time I log in and I start running around my game has little mini-freezes. Once it's happened in a specific part it won't happen again. Meaning if I have the hitches and move through a whole town then it won't hitch again until AFTER I restart my game again.

Is this some sort of caching? And if so, is it normal it just continues to be a problem instead of just caching it for longer than one login? Or is it something of my own? I've got a pretty beefy PC so I'm not entirely sure what might be going on here.

Keep in mind that the servers are being maintained and restarted from time to time. Downtime during these maintenances usually take just a few minutes. If it's taking more than 10 minutes for a region to come back online, please let us know.

From the moment i downloaded the game i keep getting this message that says. "Failed to initialize audio. This may be an issue with your installation of xaudio2.7. I've checked file integrity via steam. I've tried to run the game as admin, but i get put into an infinite loop where it keeps asking me to say yes to give access. Where do go to get help?

Dear support team and developers,

By now I am pretty sure you are aware of this issue, which I would say is pretty big.
It is so big that I could safely assume it wastes thousand of hours of playtime every day.
I have posted this issue before, but got no response to it, so I want to make sure this issue does not go unnoticed.

The issue is that after waiting a long time in queue for a spawn from the Homeland, you have a good chance to get the screen I posted below.
From this point you have to re-enter the queue again, having a chance to get this screen again.
I have wasted at least 2-5% of my playtime to get this screen.
This is a huge number if you consider this bug impacts all players.
I hope you can see the gravity of this and will respond to us with an answer and a solution after answering to this issue.

I started playing again after Winter War update. The game runs well with 50 to 60 FPS for about an hour and a half, after which FPS drop to 15-20. Before that I played in September and the game was constant 50-60 FPS.

Hi, recently bought the game but haven't been able to start it up. It's stuck on the intro screen (see screenshot) with music playing. Tried several solutions mentioned on the steamforums, i.e. re-installing, verifying game files, admin start up, updating Nvidia drivers etc.. but to no avail. 1. Fully uninstall Foxhole through steam

3. Do a clean install of the latest graphics drivers for your GPU
4. Reinstall the game and try to play

Could you try dropping your graphics settings to medium and seeing if it continues happening? This will reduce the texture quality to use smaller textures, as the GTX 1650 doesn't have much VRAM.

if you have a laptop then you can go to your laptops manufacture site and enter the model number under the support and drivers section there you will find a download for the graphics driver but if you cannot find that use the generic one by intel found here https://www.intel.ca/content/www/ca/en/support/products/80939/graphics.html but verify you do actually have intel first by checking dxdiag under the display tab
