As far as I'm aware this happened because one user asked a chat mod (specifically Mimi) if the channel description for Random chat (now #general-media) can be updated to state it's not a shitposting channel.
Mimi then said they would pass the idea along and now we're here.

From my experience.. it was great while it lasted but not meant to be, overall.. finding that person for you is dam hard and requires going above and beyond, and even then there's no guarantee that you will get on.. that's just my experience though, but yeah.. I had one relationship in my life in which I got married.. she messed around I left her and now I'm. Alone again, but my lesson was preety clear in life.. don't gamble on love.

Get to know someone over the period of years.. jumping straight into a relationship is harsh.. especially if she wants to get married very fast.. signs to be aware of.. lol.

My experience with that relationship subject is an awkward one. Not sure what to make of it.
Before getting into VR-Chat, I had honestly zero experience. Not even a hint toward a relationship of any kind. Was kind of a ghost.
But since (and all occurring within VR-Chat), people simply shower love onto me, to the point that I get heavy impostor syndrome. The sudden contrast makes life feel like I've suddenly become the protagonist of some cheesy visual novel. I've had full blown genuine confessions etc.

The catch is that every single one has been a guy. ._.
