i realized im keen for nearly everything they mentioned but when i answered 'what do you wish we covered'.. i though about a good idea.

same instance logins. so for instance if 2 users have the same home wold and select each other as favorite friend then if that person is in the home word when you login you auto spawn into that instance.

For the Subscription thing for user-to-user stuff, there's actually a large security reason that it makes it better in my opinion. If the Avatars you pay for are directly added to your account, then there is no bullshit with either the original uploader deleting after you pay, or you having to give them your account info to upload it on your account for you.

Plus if all the payments are going through VRC systems they can verify and moderate that shit way better to crack down on scammers etc.

I think a lot of people's gut reactions are going to be to hate on the concept but tbh, I actually think it will make a lot of things people already do with the game safer and easier.

There is a certain prefab that disables some features of some mods. Otherwise you may tag your world as game or club and the network scan of these mods will also disable features like that.

Depends on what kind and what you want.

Eg, on the easy end, you can download some MMD model from deviant art, put it through the CATS tool in Blender, upload it in Unity, and boom you have an avatar. Takes a few steps and navigating a few unfamiliar programs, but honestly isn't hard.

On the harder end, you might want to model your own specific character from scratch, do a load of custom animation stuff, fancy texture work etc, which will take far more learning.

Well, like I said, it depends on your end goal. Is why most people start with something that already mostly made for them, and do things like colour/texture edits.

Then they might try some custom facial expressions, animations, basic props etc.

Or start learning blender and adjust the outfit, or find/make a new one.

If a person is willing to start out with more simple avatars (usually something non-human), then some will start with Blender instead, and create easier things like little custom robots or abstract creatures.

Just don't remotely expect a video game style character creator. One way or another, it's learning a craft.

It'll be up to the authors to run their program to convert the dynamic bones to avatar dynamics. I'd imagine eventually they'll start to limit the number of dynamic bones and slowly pull it out to the point it only runs a few to none. They'll phase it out

Yeah, some users w/ trust are elitists and will block you if you're a visitor or crash you on purpose.

My best defense is that my Potato PC can't handle multiple avatars but it can tolerably handle multiple generic blocked avatars.

there's like 3 or 4 ways to do it, make sure you have it enabled at the oculus level, then make sure vrc has permission to use it, then make sure you aren't vrc muted, then make sure you have mic sensitivity turned up

The Quest and Quest 2, while capable and powerful machines in their own right, are still mobile devices and not as powerful as a dedicated modern gaming rig. It is likely simply a case of it struggling because it is not capable of pushing solid frames on that map with the amount of people in it.
