Typically if I am heading to a pub world that's pretty populated, I expect something to be happening there, but if 80% of it is mirror dwelling, they could've at least done that in a private world or something. To the discussion at hand:
1, If you like a given avatar / put a lot of time into making a avatar, you want to see it. When it's just talking between people you're largely invisible to yourself.
2, You can't 'feel' the VR body. Not truly. Ignoring any phantom touch or anything like that, you don't feel the proportions of the fingers or the clothing on your back, or different kinds of / new limbs in the place of non bland human avatars. The only way to get a 'feel' of what your body in VR is doing, is to see it. In reflection. Especially with FBT, you can move limbs around but unless the avatar is literally you, it's always gonna be a little off.

Came up with an interesting question I've always kinda thought about:

VR Users - When you play VRChat / VR Games in general, what kinda clothes do you wear? Is there a reason you wear those specific clothes if you wear a specific set? Full Body Users especially are my target for the question, as clothing can affect your comfort and even tracking reliability in some cases.

When using Full Body, I almost never wear long pants, or anything baggy as moving around alot can get hot, or in most cases, the baggy clothing can occlude the leg/foot trackers!

Just curious to be honest, always interesting to see what factors come in to play for people when in VR, especially full body!

Hi im playing vr chat on my oculus quest 2 for the first time any tips to not to get motion sick thanks.

Take it slow. Use comfort turning and teleportation movement and ease yourself in. After about a week or so, you'll start getting your VR legs.

If you start to feel motion sick, don't try to just power through it - take a break and come back to it in a little bit.

it's the worst when you're at a party and your sounds cuts out so you have to rejoin

you have to restart your game to fix it

no, as thatd require rewriting some steamvr code, but they did make it less common.
you can also fix it by opening the overlay, clicking on the vrchat game button in the middle of the dashboard, and clicking "Return to vrchat" a couple times, although restarting steamvr is a more permenant way to fix it
