If you are on the fence about 3.0, please, I implore you to set some time aside and learn the new system. I was skeptical at first and it put me off of working on it for a while. But now that I've learned it, it is the single greatest advancement in Avatar creation and allows for some amazing things. Don't be a dummy like me. Just try it and it will change you're perception of what is possible.

Yeah you get easier control over things compared to AV2 while a basic avatar is crazy easy to set up. Sure it’s different but once you learn it’s really seamless just getting a basic avatar out

There's usually a lot of stuff we want to do, but there's a time and place for those things. The Canny should serve as a guiding tool for future features and feedback. I think we'd be misrepresenting it if we suggested it was an actual roadmap, but it's likely the closest thing to one.

Actually (doesn't have to be a question that can be answered if you can't). Regarding the AV3 features. Any idea why the shrinking ability for avatars back in its beta wasn't implemented? The only thing I can assume why would be the case is that it would break the menu or worlds but I'm not entirely sure.

You must obtain at least "New User" Trust Rank in our Trust and Safety system in order to upload content. You can get this by just spending a few hours in VRChat, hop some worlds, and make some friends. Give it some time and you'll be able to upload content in no time.
As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.
