I've seen people that have malicious clients and never got banned even though they got reported multiple times.. They crashed people, force cloned.. and more.. To this day they are running around free.. But I've seen people that use non-malicious clients that do stuff like save avatar parameters between world changes, offer buttons to refresh social tab, change colors of menu /design of the menu etc.. get banned.. Now.. Let's think about this.. Person making other people's life hell goes without consequences and person that makes his life better get banned ? Something seems off here..

Gestures would presumably be done by doing the actual gesture with your hand, I think?

It depends on the lens type, which varies between headsets - in short though, as long as you're not a child who's eyes are still growing, and/or as long as you're not spending literal days straight in VR you're fine

Yes, there are systems that can harm your eyes if used excessively but they don't create headsets with that kind of material anymore

That's probably more standard VR Sickness, which is pretty much just motion sickness lol - if you start feeling VR sickness though, I'd recommend not pushing through it and instead taking a 15-20 minute break before heading back in c:

It's just that VR has a lower framerate than your eyes so you have to spend a bit to get used to it

Yea, what I mean is real life has like a 120 fps or something like that while VR isn't there yet so it's lower and that change in getting used to the faster frame rate can cause sickness. You get used to it overtime

I don't think there's a framerate at which your eyes update lol? I guess there's a delay between the photons hitting your cones/rods and then that getting to the brain, then the brain processing it but

also I'm vaguely certain the Index can get up to 144hz, which raises VRChat's framerate cap up to 144 too

You must obtain at least "New User" Trust Rank in our Trust and Safety system in order to upload content. You can get this by just spending a few hours in VRChat, hop some worlds, and make some friends. Give it some time and you'll be able to upload content in no time.

As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.

Is the game still having issues with joining instances? I can view instances fine, but attempting to join them attempts to download only a small bit of them before sending me back to the home world

Clearing caches has lead to download loops where I eventually end up in the error world

The only issue where I run into is the world downloading and then not loading me in ever. If I press return to home it will take me to the home loading screen and then will soft lock forcing me to restart

It happens way too often for me to even try to join multiple worlds in one session

actually I just looked at the vrchat logs, the issue I'm seeing does seem likely to be an actual bug that will never work for anyone. could someone try going to the website and launching a world, any world, from it? a new instance, make sure to click "launch world" so the game opens from a url. that's what's not working for me - the invite me link works, but only when the instance isn't new
