@wintry warrenLast time i did it the whole local low vrchat folder and registry settings (Basically what the manual guide specified at that time.), but last time i did that is ages ago, hency why i noted no guarantee if that happens.
Tho, the settings (at least not all) can not be stored in the game install path, i use both steam and the native oculus home version and they both sync with each other so they use a different common place.

I almost never speak in VRC. Thousands of hours being a mute yet I still have nearly 1K friends. You don't need your legs to boop people or be expressive with your arms/gestures. Just be lively and expressive and engage/interact with those around you. People often understand the trope of "fake mute" in VRC. I've never had anyone give me shit for it and you can easily use pens, particle keyboards, etc, to communicate.

Just install VoiceMeter, Install Cable, Install Balabolka or whatever TTS software you use, but Balabolka def is best for this, Install the voice you want to use, open Voice Meter and set your output audio settings in Balabolka or whatever TTS to output to your VoiceMeter aux input, and set the Output to whatever open line you want, in VRChat just select that output line and you're done.

Voicemeter is used in tandom with the cable. Voicemeter is the man in the middle routing your audio allowing you to set the audio levels for your mic, it also lets you pipe audio from VoiceMod if you wish to use a soundboard as well as TTS

Ever since the new update came out on the 28th, i have not been able to go into karaoke rooms or video player rooms and listen or see videos that are playing on the screens. I thought it might have been a Youtube DL issue so i went into the .cache folder like i usually do to delete the file but it wasn't there so that's not the issue. I tried to download a seperate youtube DL to put in my /Tools folder but i don't have the folder to begin with. I don't really know what's going on. Since this last update i can't see videos playing 😦 is anyone else having this issue?

hey, Stolen Valor isn't when someone claims to be part of the Military. Stolen Valor is when someone claims to be in the military and attempts to collect a Discount, Favor, or service based on that claim. There is actually no law against what people would call "Impersonating the military" or anything like that. You can wear a military uniform and say you are in the military to every person you see, that's not a crime. Now, doing that at a school to gain discounted tuition, is a felony for example.

Toggle Nameplates is a menu option, there's no dedicated controller button for it, so you can't remap it.

Some worlds don’t allow you to jump but I believe they changed the binding to another button

Unity is how you upload custom avatars, the custom avatars can have custom animations added to them.

It has built-in tools for creating animations and stuff

And Animations work just fine on quest, the quest avatar restrictions are no dynamic bones, staying under 7500 triangles if you want other quest users to see you, and your textures can’t use transparency on the quest version. The pc version has no limits like normal, you just wont see it, only Pc users will

There’s not really much of a reason to use a quest-only avatar, if they exist the creator just didn’t know what they were doing. But yeah if you wear one then PC users see you as a robot.

Depending on your computer and internet connection, sometimes it’s faster to just re-download something then load it from your hard drive

i have a problem with vrchat cache since the last update, the problem is that my system disk (C) is an SSD and i redirect all vrchat cache to a mechanical disk (D) where it is installed, that same disk is where the steam library is, i tried to release the permissions in roaming and it loads the VRCHAThome map finally, if i can't make it work outside the ssd (C) againg i will have to uninstall it, i don't want to burn all my writing SSD cycles since it remains 78% currently.....anyone have any solution for this?

An HDD is also having wear when constantly written to. But let's ignore that point of the message.
Eventually try a directory junction instead if the symbolic link makes troubles. Maybe that works.

SSDs aren't the universal solution they're advertised to be. They trade one set of vulnerabilities for another. Curiously, the "fusion" or hybrid drive seems to be popular because it offers us the worst features of both kinds of drives. 😛

seems to me you're doing it the right way. just keep track of the lifetime of the device, whatever kind of drive you're using, and plan to replace it while you still can. also, keep it backed up.
