i recommend finding groups to join. if your over 18 check out Ancients of Vrc for plenty of events and numerous other 18+ groups for age gated/moderated instances. far less traumatizing than regular publics.

basicly: youtube is cracking down on unauthed requests, making it so video players can error.
You can use Cloudflare WARP or VRCVideoCacher to fix this
(however with VRCVideoCacher it does take your atuall youtube cookie, so you yourself may be flagged as a bot. Its adviced to use a burner google account for this so that your main doesnt get blocked :3)

If you're over 18, consider getting age verified. You need one month of VRC+ to do it but you keep it even after the month is up. Also look into joining adult-only groups like Ancients of VRChat, they have lots of events and activities, many aimed at new players to help them get started in VRchat.

From what I know VRChat chatbox messages can be configured to display for a duration of 2 to 60 seconds(??)
It's adjustable within the Quick Menu to control how long text bubbles remain visible above players heads.

lol, yeah it was working fine yesterday and i can get in by using the Vrchat.exe in steam common folder. Just makes me think it might be the steam auth token
The reason the Vrchat.exe direct method isnt working is beacause it thinks im in offline mode when i boot like that which is to be expected
