Your HDDs being Seagate Barracuda is a decent choice. You can get 2x 8TB version

That will give you 16TBs of HDDs, and 12TBs of SSDs, so you'll have 28TBs overall, which is more than you had when you were getting 6 SSDs

you can see on the pop-up message if it was a kick from an instance moderator (group owner or group moderator in a group public instance, instance owner in a private instance, or a world's creator in any instance...) or a majority vote-kick 😅
but since you mentioned someone said that to you, it is highly likely that that specific person was a moderator of the group public instance you were in, and they simply kicked you instead of warning you first 🤷
groups can moderate their instances however they want, so nothing anyone can do about it... just try to be on your best behavior 🙂

Your choices for Quest 3(S) controllers are either the default ones, or the Quest Pro controllers.

If you go to an elaborate SteamVR setup, you can mix lighthouse type controllers, where people like the index ones. That's a whole lot of money though, and those mixed systems have calibration concerns.

Dumb question, but: I have a Booth avatar that specifically mentions being loaded into Unity with VRCC version 2019.4.31f1. Whenever I try to use anything but 2022.3.22f1, VRCC complains loudly until I put it back. The avatar I'm loading has some (possibly minor?) problems when I upload it (missing items in the Action menu), so my question is: Is there a enough of a difference between the two versions to make it worth trying to use the "correct" one, or no? The avatar loads and otherwise works fine, but since this issue has cropped up before I want to chase down what's causing the problem.

I tried Amazon Photo, but the photos don't have date information, so they were displayed quite disjointedly.

I really don't know anything about VRChat I just put it on my Quest 2 the other day. Was a bit overwhelmed by it. I would like to do a private 'home' location customized and then use it to hang out with friends. I need some help though, I assume the lobby I start off in is just a default setting and I think I was able to make it private but I don't understand how to customize anything, including the avatar. I don't have access to a good pc that can link with my headset. How much of this can I get done directly through the headset? I'd appreciate any help. Ty.

You can make any world you want your home world (and invite only if you want) via the settings.

You go to a world that you want as your home and click on it. Then there should be a ”make home button” and you can put on if you want it like invite only or friends or whatever you want, hope this helps

you'll have to find an avatar world and change into a new model (worlds like Prismics avatar search are pretty good) you just change into the model by clicking the pedestals (they'll have a large image above them to show what the model might look like)
