totally not biased because ive had an index since end of 2021 or so, and the only things i had to replace was a defective base station, alongside a cable that had been through a LOT

this doesnt apply to everyone, but in my experience, this thing is built out of titanium or something. have accidentally hit the headset and/or controllers against something so many times but ive never had to replace any of them yet, not even for stick drift.
