No, it's only related to the SDK itself. The SDK is now using VCC-format so if you are still using an older project, back it up and migrate it using Creator Companion so it supports those new VCC packages.

Be aware that including the SDK in Avatar Packages and stuff has been a bad practice, hence why it's now using VCC format. If your project still has Assets/VRCSDK folder reintroduced from someone else's package, it will BREAK!

All SDKs are now sorted under Packages in Unity now. They will be named VRChat SDK - Avatars and VRChat SDK - Base for example.

Many Avatar Creators in the past (and still do) have shipped their products with the VRCSDK included with it's Unity Package. That has lead to so many issues.

Yeah, just simply back up your project and place it somewhere in your Documents. Then, use Creator Companion to migrate to the new SDKs (that is, if you haven't already).

Also that's true.
The GoGoLoco system uses a lot of weird tricks to pull off the stuff it does.
It's basically guaranteed to break over time, and will need to be actively kept up to date if a user wants to always have it.

Hopefully the canny issue that Razgriz posted has also resolved the issues with Hai's combo gestures.
Would suck to log in without any facial expressions.

I love how reporting for clients is just now being added in, not at their hieght or anything when the reports would be their heighest and online to where it made it difficult for quest users to report for such things, no, they decide that now after the bomb of EAC happened that they finally have to implement such a useful tool that's native to the game and doesn't drag a person off platform.

Something that confused me when I looked at my performance (playing quest connected to PC VR) is that I had a constant FPS between 35-37 regardless if I set graphic to lowest and with safe mode turned on, or upped graphics to ultra and 8x. I would have expected those settings to affect performance? Is the FPS counter working like it should?

Vrchat caps your FPS if it cant reach a certain amount

That's a function of the headset.

If it can't reach full refresh of the headset, it will lock it to half max in hope you can hit that more consistant.
A constant half framerate is for most people less nauseating then a constantly fluctuating framerate.
Especially in fast paced things.

The HTC Vive Focus 3 VR Headset is a piece of garbage, DO NOT BUY.
It doesn't work with any HTC VR products and also inhibits SteamVR functionality
It's an extreme downgrade from the Vive pro eye and can't even maintain its bandwidth claims via the streaming cable.
It literally cannot function anywhere near Base Stations because the team that designed it is too incompetent.
I attempted to work with the HTC team to resolve this but they claim that they do not have the competency to program a work-around.

Their incompetent team is working to release even more garbage headsets in the future as they don't have anyone working there smart enough to speak up and say "hey this is dumb"

Much much better battery life than the Vive 3.0 trackers, the Super Dongle is amazing for getting all your trackers connected to 1 USB port, and when paired with the EOZ straps they feel invisible on your body. Only complaint is they are easier to occlude with clothing or your own body depending on what you're wearing or where you are in your space. If you have more than 2 base stations though that isn't anything to worry about, and is honestly only negligibly worse with 2 stations.

What puzzles ME, tho, is how does VRChat run properly on a Quest with a phone SoC, while it runs like Quake on a 486 when on desktop when using Intel UHD graphics?

The Intel UHD iGPU's are absolute crap for gaming to begin with.

The Desktop version is tailored towards a gaming system and has limitations oriented on that

the iGPU is not even remotely to what VRChat expects someone to really run it on.

The quest is however a much more limited / specced down version of VRChat tailored towards that hardware.

If you could run the quest version on your PC you'd have amazing performance basically. (Before you ask, no you can not do that.)
