It makes me highly paranoid, if someone does disapear in front of me and I dont know if he just quited the game or blocked me!
Back then 2018, there was a website from VRChat, where you could see a list with peoples that YOU blocked and also a list with peoples that blocked you.
Someday this page was no longer visible and everything started to go worse..

and Today, it is not even more possible to see the people that blocked you in the "In your Room" Tab of your world.
I cant even see if the person is still online in the same room with me, or if he just blocked me, because is both cases he will no longer visible on the "In your Room" Tab.

you have to change your safety settings, max avatar size no greater than 50mb, a lot of avatars use a lot of texture memory, with also extremely heavy shaders and high poly models that are not made for realtime graphics. So also set it up so it shows max poor performance avatars, very poor just means it went way over the limit.
And for worlds sadly you cannot limit anything on your client, some worlds will have, as with avatars, heavy textures and shaders, so avoid going to maps that have a lot of realtime lights or are more than 200 mb in memory

One thing that I've heard takes up more power is having two "VR Hubs" (Oculus and Steam Vr is what I'm referring to) running at the same time. But from what I know, I have to have the Oculus app always running so that my Rift S works. I am also forced to play VRchat in Steam VR mode because that's the only option I have on start up, and I cannot find the VRchat app on the Oculus library/store.

😳 Usually apps I've just played show up in the Oculus Library. When I first got my Rift S, VRchat would show up there as, I believe titled "Unknown App" or, maybe that's what it titled the author. But for some reason, that went away (years ago). And now, if I look up VRchat in the Oculus Store it is just not there.

Of course it only shows up in the store after I go complaining about it not existing lmao. Lemme experiment with this... Hopefully its ok to have it installed on steam AND oculus xD

How do I removed avatars from recently used. There are some avatars that certain worlds force you to fallback into and I don't like looking at them.

If it's not possible, then that would be very problematic and I can see how people can weaponise that to target streamers.

I don't think this is something that is realistically a problem. They can easily go around this by not looking at their recent avatars. And they will have to go to a world that have implemented this in a malicious way for it to happen. Those worlds are hopefully being taken down before it's a problem.

Imagine a horror map that forces you into a spider avatar. It doesn't break any rules, but arachnophobes wouldn't want to see that in their menus.

I get 30-40+ fps in virtually all worlds. Even my own world is super hard on the quest 2, with a ton of poi materials in a massive world, still runs fine on my quest 1. Q2's performance uplift is fairly minimal. Most of the time I'm within 5-10fps of the Q2.

New problem: I just loaded a bunch of avis in a world and it didn't push out the old avis. They all just built up. So now, not only are you stuck with certain avis in your menu, you also can't stop junk from building up in your cache. This is worse than I thought.

This is ofc really hard to do a comparison on. But I know only of one world that does it. And onw game world that did it. We don't go to the same worlds. So we can't really compare that either.

The point behind my sarcastic joke was that there are countless forms of disorders, disabilities, fears, conditions, etc. It's fairly impossible to design a product with every single person in mind. Alright, I'll input my perspective then: I have an irrational fear of buttons (koumpounophobia; it's like germaphobia, but for buttons). A lot of avatars have buttons in their thumbnail because the camera could be zoomed in onto the chest or the background could be buttons. This wasn't a problem before, but now with the recent avatars list, I wouldn't be able to avoid looking at buttons when choosing my avatar. This could induce a panic attack since I have anxiety.

i have some thoughts about it

first of all i don't like it because i never share my ID to anyone nor using someone else
and it will make vrchat login more complex and time consuming.

but on another way i supporting it because let's say if someone has user email and other ID's
they will be able to log-in to user vrchat account and even unity sdk and stole things from him/her
which is not good at all

so in that case ... the Email Re-Verification feature will very come in handy
because whether or not he/she will be able to restore his/her email
the vrchat dev's will compare that email and ip address from first vrchat account creation time with the newest one
and they will know if the current new user is the real owner of that account or not

It helps people with really small avatars. Near clip plane is deciding where the closest thing can be rendered to the camera.
If you don't have that and have a really small avatar.You won't be able to see your arms for example. Because they are too close to the camera.

Email verification has nothing to do with IDs. VRChat doesn't collect, use, or need your ID for anything at all.

Email verification is no different than many other sites that have used this for many years. When you log into vrchat from an unknown device, you get an email that you need to accept. This is for your protection.

Vrc is nearly universally cpu bottlenecked on a 3090, I don't think a 4090 changes that. That's even counting 2 person worlds, and adding more people makes it more cpu bottlenecked, not less.

You get a 4090 for vrc if you have an aero or like cranking up supersampling to 500 percent

1,i have done fresh installation of vrc and cleared AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\VRChat. but problem still exists
2,i like playing pypydance in vrchat. but i got timed out message in some instance 
eg. there are 3 public pypydance instances. i can join 2 instances but 1 timed out.
it is not related to how many players in the room. because the timed out one is less than 20. but the 2 i can join is over 20

I have the quest 1, and I’m really struggling on vrc, I crash if I have 4 avatars turned on, and if you changing avatars around me I start to lag then crash. I will be getting a quest two because I’ve had this headset for quite some time, but in the mean time I was wondering if there was any way to lower my crashing rate when people change avatars around me
