It def works on desktop mode but you would need to manually finger point and use a webcam to extend your arm. Didn't know u where on desktop, the problem with that and drawing avatars is that the pen will always emit from your hand/finger and if your hands are at your side then you can't draw.

But vrchat added the ability to use a webcam to track your hands on desktop which would work, but you would need to manually do finger point gesture using the Shift+number keys
