C# forces you to remember to do resource management at the place that the resource is used. C++ keeps it within its class.

I've had to fix way more leaks in C# and Java than C++.

And I've recently caused one in production in Java :\ Something that didn't implement closeable was allocating threads and wanted me to type a specific method when I'm done with it.

Well, I did it three years ago. We finally found out why factories were rebooting their web server on an occasional basis just a couple weeks ago.

If you forget using, or you didn't know that the specific class implements IDisposable, then you leak.

(Technically the finalizer will run on GC but that just makes bugs intermittent because you'll randomly be saved if the GC just happens to be doing a specific thing at the right time... if not then you crash.)

GC is, to the extent that your framework leaves you to manage specific resources, a false sense of security... and one that prevents the language from implementing a reliable solution.

and it has funky custom-built tools to generate the makefile

it's not designed to be compiled without installing it

Back then displaying web pages wasn't really necessary. way back before Epic Games Store come to fruition.

I think mainly because using UE4 is just one licence away if you already have Epic account.

is they don't store all the messages on your list of DMs there was a important contact. I had who I think was from this server and now I can't find the person. Since Discord randomly hides some DMs

But in some cases you are forced to send a friend request to the person and go to the list where you sent friend requests and click messages then cancel the request. Even if you do have a mutual server.

There was a good contact that was a sound engineerer and worked with voice actors in the gaming industry we spoke before.
