Gummy oring for the wooting is another form of friction mount. Well it's the friction mount we use way before friction pad was made

Aligning the case and port shouldn't be a problem either with tofu redux

Pcb sits on the case posts and standoffs so that's keeping it from sinking

Case dimension, alignment, and port switch from the redux is there so nothing to worry

Only thing to worry is to properly installing the gummy oring with the module into the case

If I recall on my knowledge of pcb sheets specifically for pe foam. It raises the mid frequencies and slightly lowers the highs. But the thing about this is if you use PE foam on a HE PCB it could cause actuation inaccuracy bs

Hi, I am removing the switch from my 60he v2 module. I use the toolkit from wooting itself to remove the switches, but those pins you need to press to remove the switch are breaking with a lot of the switches. Should I be worried or is it not a big problem? Or am I doing something wrong?

It's generally a good idea removing them like that if you are removing all of the switches. But they shouldn't break easily even if it's fully assembled.

honestly building is insanely easy if you're using a wooting pcb for example

i think a lot of folks don't realise our module is actually pre assembled already, so it's literally drop in case foam, drop in pcb, maybe screw one screw if you need grounding, then done
