Well if you use that as is you need to separate that plate from the one they sent you and screw that one on. Or you can push out those switches and move them to the new one.

its hardest the first time, then its 10-15% easier the following time you want to make any tweaks

with the stock cases the hardest part is just unscrewing everything and fighting the JST cable, but once you get a feel for it, its not too bad

luckily, most lead tape is coated, so it only really becomes harmful when cut. especially when cut into many tiny pieces that require you to touch the raw lead to stick it inside keycaps 😃👍

yeah, those are the 035s (flatlines with their completely flat force curve). they’ve already been released and are for sale on Taobao but I haven’t seen them on Ali yet.

they have a spring and two magnets (apart from the magnet in the stem) to pull the stem down at the end of the press creating a consistent force throughout the press, if that makes sense.
