You don’t need TMR to do wireless, there are already quite a few wireless HE boards out there. The difference between HE and TMR in terms of power consumption is little when compared to the LEDs.

I presume a reason why we haven’t seen TMR from Woot (and a couple other companies) yet might be because it’s hard - impossible to source. The boards with TMR sensors all came from the same OEM that sells the same solution. It could be that only they can source them (or have an exclusive deal with the manufacturer).

Im using the premium wooting cable, but the short straight cable is a "female" adapter, i was looking for a male (to switch keyboard to multiple pc) keeping the coiled cable plugged in the keyboard,

Depends entirely on the game. Using a controller and mouse/keyboard at the same time often doesn't work in many games, so the mode isn't helpful.

RGB disappears because you've got Tachyon mode enabled on that profile.

Immediate with test results. I ran tests on https://analog-monitor.wootility.io/, swapping out switches to make sure it wasn't faulty switches. That means either the JST/daughterboard or the main board. However, because it was only certain keys/areas at a time that ruled out being a general power issue. Thus, board issue. Probably takes 30 minutes to test at most.

I love the product but the height of the keyboard is little too high for me(Been using MX Keyboards from Logitech). I just learned about "Low-Profile" and read some contents on Wooting Reddit.

Anyone here has experience of customizing the kyebaord into low-profile as possible? I learned that changing housing and keycaps will help. Wondering if anyone can share recommended keycaps and housing.

the rgb change is because by default, profile 1 and 2 have different rgb to differentiate them

My wooting 80he just arrived, I have a question - When I hold "A" and click "D" it doesnt register the D, but if I hold "D" and click "A" it registeres that while I am holding down D.

Do I need to change something in settings, so the A-D also works?

You’re not gonna damage them. You may see some white plastic pieces flying off but those are the latches (with them a bit “damaged” they’ll be easier to pull next time and don’t cause any issues).

Hey all. Dumb question but recently a young child used my 80he with pbt key caps and after that the w key became... sticky? Not as in the key would get stuck down but my finger seemed to somehow be sticking on the surface of the keycap. I tried cleaning it with dish soap and water but no difference. It doesnt seem to be happening to other keys. Is there a fix? Maybe im just experiencing the placebo effect or something lol

its been 15 mins since my pc has been on and now its showing key presses at 0.10 actuation

old power issue was sometimes PCs that didn't have clean power or that had power draw issues would cause phantom key presses at times. It happened a lot on 8k, but in rare cases happened on 1k poll too

it probably isn't that anymore as this issue was fixed for most folks with updates quite awhile ago, but no harm in checking if you experience same issue on multiple computers

I have strange phantom key presses on my 80HE..... they only occur when i have 1 k polling rate enabled. When I switch to 8k no more phantom presses.

When i switch to 8k them back in 5 minutes time it reverts to having phantom presses, what should I do?

your keyboard layout is set by your operating system

the keycaps are only there to help you see what itll do when you press the key

but if you change the keycap it will not change what happens when you press the key for example

you probably have english keyboard layout on your operating system
