USB C isn't a speed. It's just a connector standard (in a nutshell), and can do whatever speed that it agrees on with whatever is on the other end.

It’s different layout of the keys. You might want to ask in modding or gen chat though - this be the 80he chat, so not many venom owners here

6.25 U is similar to wooting and 7 centers the space bar by shifting some keys around.
pay close attention to the pics to spot the differences and decide which you like 🤷‍♂️

But to provide a more serious answer. Keycaps are a bit of a science - an expensive one. The moulds that you press them in are hilariously expensive to make, since they need to be able to be reused thousands of times without a buildup of bits and pieces.

This is why we're being very careful with expanding too fast when it comes to both colours, patterns and especially languages.

Ultimately we have to gauge if "Pattern of keycap" in "COLOUR HERE" would sell in "LANGUAGE HERE" which isn't always a positive.

This is easy to see in our Take Control keycaps, which is almost exclusively ANSI/ISO UK and German for a few of them.

Let's say a new set of keycaps would have an upfront investment of say... 100K USD (made up imaginary number), then we'd want there to be data showing that there is a market to sell at least 100K worth of keycaps (and change), before it would be a realistic project to undertake.

I‘d also imagine that wooting keycaps and gmk keycaps have a very different clientel, so making premium high priced low volume kits like that seems like not a great idea from wootings perspective

Especially when keycaps are generally compatible in a broad sense, so having "works with wooting" keycaps seems a little redundant

Does the Wooting 80HE keyboard have two different RGB settings, or something? I have a spiral setup with two different colors, but after a while, the colors change. It is still a spiral, though, and it stays like that until the keyboard RGB goes into sleep mode or until I push a button, then my profile kicks back in with the colors I picked.. Is that like a bug or something? I hope this makes sense lol I'll post a couple of videos to show what I mean.

Pick plastic if you are on a budget or don’t need a home defense weapon.

Pick zinc if you have extra money itching your pockets or you need to defend your house and the keyboard is the only weapon you are allowed to use.

You can technically always get the plastic and later in the future get the zinc or other third party cases

I’ve never had any problem with my PCR case. Have had it since Nov last year and unless you like to abuse your keyboard, I don’t think a little flex would be an issue.

The LED can't cover the entire keycap surface.

It has one focal point and any sublegends won't be as lit.

Question: Have anyone had issues with the pads under the stab's on the 80HE?
Since a week or 2 back I've noticed that my space bar sticks if I press it down hard.
Thought I might some how have spilled something, even if I couldn't remember any.
So I disassembled my 80HE, and there was no spillage, but the soft pads under the stabs, where a bit sticky, and making the spacebar stick.
I then tried the other buttons with stabs, and they had the same issue, tho not as severe. It's like the pads have degraded and become sticky over time.

Have others had this issue?

Not having any pads under the stabs is not nice imho.

If you look under the black keycaps you can see the letter outline is just a random shape

On my white wooting keycaps the outline is the full letter and the shine through on them is perfect
