i started using my new 80he today, for some reason the ctrl key keeps being held down. like ill plug it in and the ctrl key is being held and it wont stop

it seems to always be triggered on the default typing profile. if i switch to the default rapid profile and i hit left ctrl, itll turn off. but i have no idea why it keeps thinking its being held in the first place

My Zinc White was delivered while I was away, just came back home and I can tell I have made the best decision to keep the V1, it's just as perfect as I envisaged it to be, zero defects, and for sure all the noise just caused people to wait in unnecessary doubt. Hi im interested in the capability of modding the 80he for practical reasons. I wanna make it as low profile as possible, even at the cost of having the PCB between 2 layers of plastic. I know there's a nuphy 75 he low profile, but their QC and support is really bad. So first things first:

Likely the kb has a relatively low load on "bandwidth" while a mouse that's constantly moving will have a very high load despite the same polling/scan rates

No. Wootility has no way of knowing this. Only way to test for sure is to enable 8khz polling, Tachyon mode and then increasing the LED brightness.

Most third party cables should be able to handle up to 70% brightness (hence the soft lock), but some may be as good as ours, or somewhere in between.

You'll know it isn't stable when it starts tapping keys like crazy by itself

Unfortunately we currently don't ship to Morocco. If memory serves they had a friend buy it in Europe, then bring it to them afterwards.

Ultimately if shipping it back is prohibitively expensive, they might be able to find a local repair shop that can take a look at the connector and (if the traces haven't been ripped off) resolder it in place properly.
