The rest are holding in the stabs

Don't apologize. Take the larger screws out, then peel the PCB apart from the rest of it. It should come away pretty easily.

The PCB will then have just the stabs in it and you can remove them and work on them.

It's not a crime if you accidentally take out ones for the stabs early, but you don't really want them shifting around ideally.

BTW, I dunno what you're planning on doing to the stabs now, but while you're taking everything apart I'd highly recommend you remove the pads underneath the stabilizer bases.

So I haven't completely put it back together yet but if I push a little harder than anyone conceivable would on a keyboard, the right shift still sticks just a little bit. It usually unsticks itself tho. And like I said you have to push sort of hard to get it to do it.

It's a bad situation, and we're doing all we can do to try and resolve it. At the end of the day the issue lies with different standards (or lack thereof) for keycap stem positions.

The standard we decided on for the JIS keycaps is not whatever the few companies who already did JIS sets decided on - and this did not become obvious till the first JIS keyboards were shipped out and delivered to customers with those keycaps.

But again - You have options. You can cancel the order, if you'd prefer something else, you can wait for the spacebar. Might even be able to hold the order on the hub till the spacebar is ready, if you don't want to stare at the board till then.

There was no research done on it of any kind, and you took advice for the JIS module off of twitter, so this just slipped by entirely. Inital bit of DKS presses the desired key, full press does an unused F key like F20, and in Wootamation F20 does double press of the desired key.
