Not really, 80he comes with the new lekker v2 switches and the board supports 8k hertz polling rate which makes the latency lower but not noticeable

If you want the latency numbers
60he (1k hz polling) 1ms
80he (8k hz polling) 0.125ms

Like I said you won’t be able to notice the latency difference so it’s all up to layout preference

Question I ordered a wooting 60he+ and I build it and I can’t get the keys to register idk if it’s because I got the wrong switches. I bought the module and aluminaza case from wooting and the switches I got the gateron fox magnetic switches but I couldn’t get it to work. Like it detects some letters but after I spam the key a lot. I returned the switches and got myself a jade switches instead would you all think that would fix my issue ? Or did I get a bad module ?

I even tried the usb that it came with and he glorious cable and non of them work or fixed the issue

that's cause the gateron fox, or KS-37 switches aren't compatible with wooting PCBs. fox switches are just a re-color of KS-37B switches

also dont add magnets, the switches use magnets to measure key presses

so u will be interfering with them

Shouldn't interfere at that range. I'd be 3D printing some housings for them and attaching them to the chassis. I can also shield them from the key switches. Not going to be using some insane strength magnet or anything.

Really don't know where to ask this question but I'm ordering the 80he and I saw on some unboxing videos that the 60 originally came with a key cap puller I was wondering if the 80 would be the same ? The only reason I ask is because the kit Wooting sells separately doesn't provide one .

I honestly couldn't tell you, since I've never used Jades.

But comparing the prototype LekkerV2 I have with the exiting Lekker switches, I am quite happy with the improvements.

If the v2's are really going to be an improvement I'd prefer to have the 60 spring vs the lighter jades if the tolerances have indeed been improved
