The trickiest part would be getting maykr drone refills, but with meathook PB you could probably find a drone "easily". I will, basically it means instead of the game becoming harder overall, it becomes easier. In base-tag1 it steadily became harder, yet in tag2 it's a ton easier, and in immora/davoth it get's even easier.

Tag1 definitely overshot the difficulty, but tag2 shouldve been at the least just as hard. Doom is a bit more skill-based then other games so making it easier towards the ends makes absolute no sense

SGN ML is harder than TAG1 but also shorter, so not terrible.
Taras Nabad is a fucking slog, but not as hard as SGN. Some people struggle with some encounters but honestly, there's not many encounters legitimately harder. Just some are waaaay too long.
Similarly Mars Core can be a slog in some encounters. I think Mars Core starts really well, decent mix of hard but not too long, but (assuming you're not using BFG) the fights get way too drawn out after you would normally get the BFG in base game.
World Spear is the opposite, fucking sloooog of a level until you get around to where the fountain fight is in base game, from there the fights are still difficult but overall typically well crafted. There's one fight with a buff totem where you really need to search for the buff totem, and the ending can be rough if you don't use Hammer well."

I think one of the easiest but biggest skips to learn would be Hentai skip on Arc Complex. Skips half the mission.
Also learn what Pause Boosts are, they can make a lot of skips easier (if slower, but something tells me this isnt for learning speedruns)

Has anyone encountered the following issue when playing World Spear Master Level?

So towards the end, I fought an encounter with whiplash spectres, possessed tyrant, a bunch of random enemies, and then a room with a possessed tyrant (in the normal level, this is where the escalation encounter normally is). During the room with the possessed tyrant, I got a checkpoint mid-battle which was odd. Unfortunately I died and weirdly enough was spawned to the same room without any enemy spawns no matter where I go. In fact, I somehow didn't do this room during the level (I went to it but died and forgot to come back to it). Now when I go forward based on how the level wants me to, there is a spawn that doesn't load which I think is supposed to be a bunch of pinkies or spectres but they don't spawn no matter how long I wait there. Is there anyway around this?

I would really fucking hate to have to start the level over again 5 hours in on my nightmare run 😦
