Hey guys, I have a question on my server, I have a bot and I use premium. I have now moved my team to another server where I am not the owner, but I have purchased a lifetime bot and it is a shame not to use it. The owner of the server where I am moving welcomes the bot's services, but as a newbie, he logically does not want to give me an administrator to install the bot. Is there any way around this? For example, if the administrator would only give me a temporary one, I would implement the bot on his server and then the administrator would take me, but I would be able to control the bot and its functions via the web?

The server owner can invite MEE6 to their server.
However once they've done this, you have to have Admin perms briefly to be able to transfer Premium to the server.
After that, Admin can be removed from you.

The best you can do is set a single reminder for Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun and another for Tue, Thu, Sat. You'd have to alternate between switching these on & off each week to achieve what you want.

Having problems muting someone/they aren't muted? Check the following

Prerequisites:

• Moderator plugin is enabled
• !mute command isn't disabled
• Bot has role with Manage Roles and Manage Channels permissions
• Muted role is under the MEE6 role
• You're trying to mute someone using !mute @mention reason, otherwise it will not work

If a user got the Muted role but still can talk, it means there's an issue with your channel permissions
Go to Channel Settings -> Permissions

• If it is a public channel, it can be accessed by anyone:

• Set Send Messages for all roles except Muted
• Set Send Messages for Muted role

• If it is a private channel, it requires *special* role to access it:

• Set Send Messages View Channel for special role

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a MEE6 Additional Bot Master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

A workaround would be to create a single 1 reminder for Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun at a specified time.
Then create another single reminder for Tue, Thu, Sat at the same time.
You'd need to switch one on and one off each week.

The dashboard looks fine on my end right now, and all plugins seem to be loading faster as well. Which plugin are you using exactly? There are two different welcome plugins: “Welcome & Goodbye” and “Welcome Channel.”

Also, are you seeing any specific errors, or is it just not loading? Could you try refreshing the MEE6 dashboard to see if that helps, or testing it in a different browser, for example, Google Chrome? Let me know how it goes 🙂

hello, so I’m setting a discord server up for gaming with friends, I added MEE6 to our server and enabled all of its permissions but when I try to ‘ setup ‘ MEE6, when it redirects me to the website it gives me an error and I cannot setup the Bot, I tried to logout through the website, remove it then re-add it to my server but I ran into the same problem, does anyone have a solution for this?

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a MEE6 Additional Bot Master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website

Hey! To set up MEE6 you MUST be the server owner/Administrator/Bot Master (Premium feature).

It looks like you're none of those, sorry. Most likely, you got the "Manage server" permission, which is enough to invite the bot, but not enough to manage it.

Please make sure you have the Administrator permission, and it will work.

Good day to everyone. I am trying to configure the welcoming and leaving the server message that the bot says when a user does the former and the latter. I have assigned the text channels and even edited the messages and a welcoming card. however when my friend joins, it automatically turns off the welcome message in the settings (MEE6 website) thus making it not work

This usually happens if the bot doesn't have permission to type in the channel, if you have a bot personalizer, then please check that bot instead of MEE6, if you still can't figure it out, then feel free to grant the bot admin permission, as that will solve all permisison issues

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a MEE6 Additional Bot Master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.
