Hey y’all I’m having a problem with welcome messages. For some reason they’re showing up as long numbers instead of peoples usernames. At first it only happened every now and then but now it’s happening more often than not. I wouldn’t really have a problem with it but the numbers aren’t clickable so you can’t see their profiles. That it shows up as ID is a client issue, what i would suggest is to search for their messages that they have posted in Discord and then go to their profile, then it should be indexed.

This is also more common for phones

Can you define client issue? I’m looking at the channel now- it’s definitely improved on desktop over mobile but there are still some ID’s rather than usernames on desktop too

Your account didn't load in their account correctly, and due to that, it is displayed as an ID.

And as i mentioned, to index the users, please find a message that they posted, then go to their profile.

In this server? You may need certain #〉roles. Server owners and admins in other servers can disable reactions for roles. I’ve done the same in mine, removed reactions and embed perms for people below level 5 XP. But if you mean a system where you can’t get reactions for X mins/hours/days and then they turn on, the only way I can think of that is if there’s a delayed role given upon joining. I’ve seen other bots allow roles to be delayed before being given upon joining.

You can set it up so people have to press a reaction to get a role and then it lets them talk or you can set up 2 reaction roles where role 1 opens the rules channel then role 2 opens everything else but that’s a bit tedious. Easier just to do one, or use discord’s built in rules screening

2.3 You can make this channel disappear for verified members by adding the Verified roles -> View Channel -> (save it)

3. Reaction Role Message
3.1 Visit https://mee6.xyz/dashboard/ -> your server
3.2 Now, open Reaction Roles and create a new reaction
3.3 Now, select the #verification channel and give it the name "verifying members"

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings
