Just to say @flint sorrel I've seen the message but I can't respond as I keep customer messages in the filtered messages bit. Him replying to your ping isn't a cold ping in itself as you initiated a conversation by tagging him and he's replying to an active ping. Same as if I was chatting to a friend here but I was offline for a few hours, then I sign in and see I've been replied to (pinged or used the reply option) so I reply back, that's fine. Just random ping out of nowhere is what was warned 🙂

If I wanted to join in with a conversation but it was not within last few minutes, I'd have to turn off the ping in the reply but I could reply to it then, and then maybe the person I spoked to will see it without being pinged and then conversation starts, or, I catch them when they're chatting about something else but they're actively here, so I can tag them and talk
