It also isn't auto-assigning roles. I have a 'standby' role that only has access to a few relevant channels until they complete a few steps and are then given the 'member' role with more access.

So we have some that join but are in limbo and we don't know they are even there.

It looks like it has been resolved. I was able to login, but I initially had to add the standard mee6 bot and then my custom bot came back online. Does anyone know what the problem was? Can I kick the default bot again and keep my custom bot?

I am having a problem with embeds. Channel links put in field values are not showing as links on Discord. They work on the message template, but not in field values. I would like to report a bug found in the https://mee6.xyz/dashboard Server Management > Welcome section. (This message was also Emailed).

When editing the welcome message if there is any part of the message that has the phrase "follow the step" exactly as written the change in message will prompt to save, appear to save, but will not save as seen by refreshing the page.

This was tested on several devices, operating systems, and browsers. Below are tested examples in raw context:

• I CAN do up to 2,000 characters of "x" and it will save.

• I CAN use Space OR Enter (counts as 1 character each) to space out these "x" and it will save.

• I CAN write the following:

Hey {user}, welcome to **{server}**!

Please read our rules to gain access to our community, then follow the ste```

and it will save each time.



- I CAN NOT write the following:

Hey {user}, welcome to {server}!

Please read our rules to gain access to our community, then follow the step```

as it will never save.

• Yet, I CAN write the following:

Hi - I am getting a bug. I am an admin to a server but when i try to add an mee6 bot to it, it says i don't have any servers. I'm definitely on the correct account so I'm not sure what the issue is

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.

hello, i'd like to report a bug on the economy plugin, im not sure if it is a plugin wide bug or just specifically the / work command, but it is not respecting the role permissions set within the plugin on the command edit level. To circumnavigate this i had to edit the channel privileges on the server level, for that one instance it's fine but this could be a problem later on when i want two opposing roles to both have access to a channel but one not to have access to the command and only have access to it in another channel or any other combination of complexity.

Good morning, I am experiencing a very odd bug with my MEE6 bot.
I have premium, which allows me to use the /give-xp and /remove-xp commands.

In the past, I had assigned this command to a role named "Moderator" and every mod was able to give XP, now when I try to add another role called "Demigod", no one except for server admins can use any of these commands (not even moderators anymore).

My server ID is: 951826641695432734
Please help me resolve this issue

P.S. I tried to make these 2 roles a "bot master" to bypass the restrictions, but that did not work either

hi we are also having problems with our mee6 bot same as @tender sparrow with it not starting a quiz, it will join a room play music and then leave when stopped but when we start a quiz it will say the quiz has started but it wont join the room and there is no sound, if we try to restart the quiz it will say one is already running

I am having a similar issue as Silviu above. This past week the dashboard for one of my servers is extremely slow. On mobile it refreshes a few times and then times out completely, every time, for days now. On desktop it is very slow, lags and freezes frequently. My other Mee6 dashboards are having no issues loading (I have several premium memberships for different servers - only the largest one is experiencing this issue).

I am having the same issue as ebullience with the autorole, which I have new members joining and they are unable to see the content and has caused some new joiners to leave.
Additionally, when I try to log in on the website I am getting this error so I also cannot change the permissions on the bot to temporarily allow new joiners to join without the bot autorole assigning which poses another issue.

I have noticed a bug with emojis. Sometimes emojis post with <a(image emoji here)emojisIDhere> this layout instead of posting a proper emoji. This happens on mee6 custom bot with a custom command response. It doesn't happen with all posts from the bot so I think it may be a bot related bug. Possible only effecting the custom commands (basic and embed) posts. If you would like a screenshot or anything please let me know.

Start quiz seems to be a broken feature. It does not work like shown on youtube videos. It doesnt even respond with a post after issued start command. If you retype command to start it says its already playing a game but there is no way to play it.

Configuring Custom Bots

Trying to change your MEE6's name, avatar, or even status description? Let's see how:

First, make sure:

‣ You have at least a monthly premium with an additional custom bot or yearly/lifetime plans which comes with it included
‣ You can invite new bots by going to your Browser Settings and looking for "Window Popup Blocker" and disabling it

1. Visit your Discord Developer Portal
1.1 Open https://discord.com/developers/applications/ in your browser
1.2 Click on New Application (Top right)
1.3 Go to General Information and select a profile picture and edit the name for the last time if needed.
1.4 Next, click on the Bot tab on the left menu
1.5 Now, on the Authorization Flow, enable all the Privileged Gateway Intents options (3 in total)
1.6 Finally, click on regenerate and copy the token located below the username

2. Linking to MEE6
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz/dashboard
2.2 Click on the Custom Bot tab, on the left menu
2.3 Next, simply click on MEE6 face and paste the token at the correct place
2.4 Now, a popup window should appear, where you just need to authorize the custom bot

3. I got it!!!
3.1 Now that you have got the custom bot, feel free to kick the original MEE6 from your server (you will need to add it back, in case something happens to your custom bot).
3.2 Make sure to bring the custom bot back to the top of Server Settings -> Roles so it can continue to fully operate like the original MEE6.

my bot has been down since last week. It seems to be completely gone for no apparent reason. When i logged in on my dashboard i had to authorise the bot again to the server and it came in as a fresh one. (so i now have two bots (mee6 + custom) in the server) The reaction roles were still there and published, BUT every role has now a "Whoops, it looks like I can't give one of the roles listed here. Please fix that by putting my role above all the roles listed here." nothing works. So it looks like i have to do this all over again? Deleting the roles from discord and adding them through dashboard again...!?
