I've been on the "Severe Radar Watchers" Server since 2019. Some time ago, some of the NWS (National Weather Service) products (Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings) and SPC (Storm Prediction Center) Twitter posts are coming in with missing graphics. Now, in recent days, it's worse. Much more missing graphics that should be there. Plus, I'm seeing 'foreign' characters in some of the Titles I haven't seen before.

Event logging is losing tag names and displaying @invalid-user mentions whenever a user tagged in an audit message changes their server profile. It's kind of irritating because then those logs don't show when searching mentions:[user]. Is MEE6 using user name for those mentions or user ID? Role Hierarchy

The role position, and permission are crucial to enable your bot to give roles.

* Visit your server settings -> roles

1. Locate the bot's role and bring it upper than the roles you're expecting MEE6 or Custom Bot to give out.

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

Okay. So I guess it might just be worth a bug record.
I got a channel with interest and property roles in my discord. But for some reason this stopped working (or maybe never really worked for some reason and I didn't notice, yet)

  UPDATE: Okay. Most problems been with only a specific user. And a few reactions did not update for some reason when users interacted.
  However, MEE6 kind of seems to have forgotten the role assignments of one specific reactions role entry, or it was not saved properly to start with.
  However, I would highly suggest adding a RESYNC command to the dashboard for reaction roles. Basically to update all role assignments based on the current state of the reaction role. That would be helluva useful.

Every time I create a new custom command, I start with the permissions as "Role Permissions - Allow for all roles except" But then the first time a user tries to use the command, it flips to "Role Permissions - Deny for all roles except" and throws an error. The first bracket doesn't show up for some reason when I type {user}, then there's this empty box when trying to do the next bracketed portion. There's no text limit showing up. Then when I save it, the bracket is still missing.

Another report I'd like to make is that when I make edits to a newly made command with the Role permissions set to Allow for all roles except X, sometimes it ends up as DENY for all roles except X. And when I delete a specific random message, it doesn't actually delete the one I opted to delete, it just subtracted the amount of messages there actually are.

And now I can't even make custom commands, as any new ones that I make don't save and don't show up even when I refresh and use the command.

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for guidance.
We set up the bot to not show moderation commands such as ''Ban, Mute, kick'' in a channel we called ''public logs''
It worked at first, however it has gone back to showing everything the admins and moderators are doing for the qhole server.

I've thought of that too, but they wouldn't even be able to enter the server if they didn't agree to rules, and they are still entering the server. Usually there would be a "welcome message" with a card, and then it says "---> @example just landed" when they are getting the membership role after accepting rules. None of this happens except a mention of them joining in admin chat.

Saving a custom welcome message goes back to the default message when you click to save your changes. I have tried saving on laptop and mobile and trying in incognito mode on both as well.

i don't understand why the role level was only affecting the user ability to access threads though - it kept them from accessing the main channels, but they were able to talk in threads - effectively circumventing the mute
