So I'm making a custom command on the MEE6 website. I want the command to send a message and mention a role when somebody uses it - for context, it's a twitch/streaming role called @ Twitch Subscriber. After I hit save command, the @role gets turned into something weird, like this:

Role Hierarchy

The role position, and permission are crucial to enable your bot to give roles.

* Visit your server settings -> roles

1. Locate the bot's role and bring it upper than the roles you're expecting MEE6 or Custom Bot to give out.

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

Things to try:

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website

If you want to be sure that mee6 blocks “tree”, you have to make sure you add all variations, for example: Tree, tr33, trees, tr33s, 7rees, Tree5, treee, treeee, Treeeeeee, trrreeeee, ttreee, etc

Btw this is not a bug, just how mee6 works

Also keep in mind that channel permission override role permissions. So even if you gave mee6 all the proper permissions but you have something in the channel set to deny, it will take priority and deny it for that role set

Getting IDs on Discord

Discord objects (user profile/server/messages) are composed by IDs.

Currently, there are two ways of getting those.

• 1st - With Dev Mode

1. From your computer
1.1 Click on your User Settings (\⚙ icon)
1.2 Click on Advanced and enable Developer Mode

2. From your mobile
2.1 Swipe to the right (to open the bottom menu)
2.2 Click on the bottom right tab (your profile)
2.3 Click on Appearance, enable the Developer mode

Now, from your computer, all you have to do is right-click the objects, and copy its id.

If you're on mobile, you just need to long press, or click on objects to grab its ids.

• 2nd - Without Dev Mode

Resetting Levels

There are two important things before wiping levels...

1. You will need any of the following permissions to reset the levels on leaderboard:

+ Ownership
+ Administrator
+ Bot master

2. Take this in consideration

- It is not possible to "accidentally delete a level/xp" as there's a confirmation button before you go ahead
- This is a permanent action and the only way of recovering the lost level/xp is unlocking premium and using /give-xp @member

But how can I delete it?

• Go to your server and type /levels
• Or, visit https://mee6.xyz/dashboard/ -> click on leaderboard -> click on see leaderboard button
• Next, hover the mouse on the member's name and click Reset XP
• Alternatively, you can reset the entire server's xp

If not then please check the timer plugin to see if it is a timer or not, if it is then delete it from there and then go to that channel, edit channel, intergrations, webhook and delete the webhook there

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.

So I'm really at my wit's end. Your embed text system is not working properly. Adding emojis from your selection is bugged, adding channel or roles from your system is bugged. Either the roles or channels aren't showing, or the emojis aren't showing. Another problem is when you want to edit that embed text afterwards, sometimes parts of it end up being removed or the text you edited is changed to the old text. I've thought long and hard about why these errors occur, but I've come to the conclusion that no matter what I've done, these errors still appear. This is a bug of mee6 and all embed functions are completely buggy. Mee6 is a great bot but when it comes to embed text it is completely disappointing and time consuming. I've lost lyrics I've written so many times and then had to rewrite them I can't count anymore.

PLEASE FIX: If one is in a temporary voice chat with another person and clicks on the hub voice chat to create a new temporary vc for his own, he is send back to the former channel with the other person. This is extremely frustrating if people in a voice chat decide to separate but CAN'T. Even if previously disconnected, they are still being send back in the same channel!

It is not a bug. The music plugin is now premium, if you did not have it enabled prior to it becoming premium, you will not be able to enable that feature without purchasing a premium subscription. If you had it enabled but accidentally disabled it, you will not be able to re-enable it without a premium subscription

Yes anyone with your webhook link can post anything they want on your discord through the webhook. Also consider checking your audit logs for unusual activity

Hi - I have a premium MEE6 bot, however when it comes to bad words it doesn’t delete the message, just warns.

I created a channel and gave the MEE6 role full permissions over it and had a test user - it deletes links, just not bad words.

Also the !clear command doesn’t work:
