Prerequisites:

• Moderator plugin is enabled
• !mute command isn't disabled
• Bot has role with Manage Roles and Manage Channels permissions
• Muted role is under MEE6 role
• You're trying to mute someone using !mute @mention reason, otherwise it will not work

If user got Muted role but still can talk means there's issue with your channel permissions
Go to Channel Settings -> Permissions

• If that's public channel that can be accessed by anyone:

• Set Send Messages for all roles except Muted
• Set Send Messages for Muted role

• If that's secret channel that requires *special* role to access it:

• Set Send Messages Read Messages for special role

When using Temporary Channels...
I create a Temp Channel through the mee6 dashboard option. Everything works as expected aside form the single permission issue I have where I need to make sure that only verified members and above are able to see and use the hub to generate an auto channel. Once I change this permission I can no longer use the mee6 dashboard without all of the ignore and admin roles being removed from the private section in the hub permissions, and the everyone role is reset. I need to completely delete the hub and redo it to get it working correctly again. Otherwise both the audio and text channel allows everyone in, which is not desired.

Hello! I hope this is correct channel for my issue. Recently I wrote a message on a gaming-related server which is using MEE6. My message got deleted without warning by the bot, and I got the attached note. My deleted message was about four (4) lines of text written in plain (yet not perfect) English, and I sent it by pressing enter one time. My message contained nothing repetitive, nothing offending. It was just technical guidance to a fellow gamer. For me it looks like the bot is erroneously classifying messages as duplicates. Also, not being able to rephrase my message in case it's deemed offensive by to the bot is frustrating. Thanks.

I think the threshold should be relative to the message length or it should be based on the frequency of the word. Dunno how this could be implemented, though.

I noticed that in the logging system, the bot had no latency before posting an event that took place on the server. For example, when a user joins a voice channel, the bot log message arrives a few minutes later (2-3 minutes later sometimes) and in some cases it can be quite annoying.
I also noticed that the bot does not list all the events, let me explain: when a user joins a vocal channel and leaves it 25 seconds later, in some cases, only the message indicating that the user has left is sent in the log channel, but never the one he joined the vocal channel. It is quite annoying in some cases for the management of our server.

it would also worth searching your logging channel with ID of the concerning user just in case you didn't miss it from an another batch of logs.

yeah I couldn't really reproduce the issue even with a setting similar to yours.

I suggest copying user's ID, searching your logging channel with it and make sure you didn't miss it. you will get messages with barrage of embeds so make sure to go through all of them.

Nope, I just got it again. Probably the third time. This seems to be largely reproducible for any long recordings. If longer recordings aren't supported, the specs should be changed to reflect it (and so I know to seek a refund 😬 ).

Not sure if I should post here or in suggestions but this morning someone renamed himself with a link to an NSFW image and tried admin only commands, Mee6 replied to it and used his nickname, meaning the NSFW picture was loaded and displayed to users, could there be a way that Mee6 detects when someone have a link in his nickname and if so does something to avoid posting the full link (and thus the preview being loaded) ?

it's simply nature of the clients when it comes to rendering user mentions, since mentions inside embeds don't issue notifications client doesn't see any reason for (re) fetching the user if it's not cached so you end up with <@!numbers/<@numbers> instead of a proper mention view.

The economy plug-in, especially the boost date choosing feature is bugged a lot on most browsers
Very hard to specify a correct date and hour, and sometimes the message shows that the boost is running even though it’s not within defined period (and the boost isn’t actually running)
Also, choosing 00:01 am to day+2 as boost period does not work as the boost will only work on the second day, not the first. I had to start it at 3 am in order for it to work as expected. Basically, it seems to have many bugged functionalities with everything related to time management within economy plugin.
