Not yet, unfortunately. As soon as we do, we'll make sure to post about it. We were hoping today. But no luck yet. Sean tweeted earlier saying 5.01 would make it to all platforms.

Only way I know of is if you have ultimate gamepass and a pc. The cloud saves sync and you could make copies

From the new patch notes from today it is only for ps5/4

Ps4 and 5 have the most recent patch for Worlds Part 1. Steam and GoG have Worlds Part 1, but not the most recent patch for it.

Only Microsoft and Nintendo are missing the update.

It seems to me that something has changed on their cert end. Before these last 3 big updates, Xbox would often get the update first, and it would always be same day as Steam and PS. Now it doesn't do that.

Maybe they actually have changed their cert process to be better (or maybe just more prolonged)

Nintendo and Microsoft unfortunately are the two exceptions (unironically) when it comes to the "automation" process. We must keep checking said platforms ourselves and ask members to let us know as soon as they see the update, so we can have Gunter run the proper announcement in #nms-news-ticker. Our team must do some human manual labor.

The word itself is just a semi endearing way of saying "my brother", or at least that would be the closest equivelant.
Both PT and BR use certain adjectives and names like that in informal conversation

Have you read the pin we link to in #no-mans-sky re: the certification process

The Microsoft certification has become more strict given its complexity with NMS since it's cross-save between MS Store / Game Pass PC and Xbox consoles (different gens).

If any of those systems cause issues during the cert process, given that NMS is one version / one unit for all, Microsoft stops it from rolling out.

I assume that given what a small team HG still is, they have a lot on their plate (supporting so many platforms) and they don't foresee possible system crashing bugs until after the fact. Xbox has had timely NMS releases in the past. But in the more recent big updates in the last year, we've noticed increased Xbox release wait times that resemble Nintendo's typical delays.

There's the usual drama we're used to during updates tbh. It's usually a smaller minority causing it. Update 4.0 was probably the worst because of all the backlash. But Xbox update delays tend to be another major source of drama. Unlike Nintendo Switch players, the few disgruntled Xbox players (not every one of them is) come in here trying to make their voices heard by people who are literally unable to make the update release any faster. Our suggestion is to go to the proper parties involved, in this case, Xbox Support and Hello Games via their Zendesk.

No, 4.0 goes farther back. It included the huge overhaul with major QOL changes, including our inventory system working quite differently. It's when supercharged slots came out. Anyway, the inventory changes were a huge point of complaints, especially by the min-maxer players.

There's no need for "confrontation" per se. The hardest part is getting through to a human support agent, unfortunately. The part that usually feels most demoralizing is when you are met with a response that feels incredibly generic, as if you're just interacting with an AI bot, which is likely the case for many companies. Once you're able to get past that, I think it becomes a little easier to have an actual conversation with a Microsoft support representative.
