You need to be aware captain that there are rendering issues when two bases get close together. There are players that do not have the capability or settings on ULTRA, and fail to render everything when visiting a base. Thats why when I see those ads for MegaCity.. I don't go. I know its fun to build.. but then when its done not everyone can see all the work that people did.

two computers in the same spot.. whoever uploaded first their settings will take effect first. So if the first person set so you can add but not delete.. then you cannot delete. You should move your computers apart. Bases are to be 2000u apart in the hub as per the pins

It’s really poor etiquette to build on portals especially when you’ve been asked not to. Portals should be left unobstructed, as building on them, like fully encasing them, will more likely than not cause problems for anyone trying to use them.

It’s not your portal, the hub has lots of people.
For starters, terrain around portals and monoliths isn’t reliably constant- they changed with Fractal recently which means if another update happened to do the same thing, people could straight up get stuck there.

Not if you build on it. That’s the problem. The idea of a portal being for everyone is that anyone can access it freely without fear of being trapped or blocked. I don’t care how you build your portal base or how many exits there are, it’s a bad move.

The reason you don't want to build too close to another base is for loading purposes, and to make sure you don't get caught up in any weird bugs or glitches if boundaries overlap

So if you are very close to another base, you may want to move

if you're 1000u away, it might not be that bad, but still try to avoid it

check the distance from your base computer to the silverwater

and say it here

if 500u, you probably gotta move

Be warned.. they will chase you. they can't fire into the orbiting area.. but they will chase you on up there heh

The portal marker I have on Distira overlooks a big lake and I recall correctly, ending up into the ocean

A cliff overlooking it all. I've sat there for hours as I was doing other stuff, very peaceful. Lack of storms make it easy to idle

Generators, placed them behind the wall and it looks like mist, now I have to add the blue Lights and boom the perfect Ambience for my Server room

I will have to get off soon, gots to go shopping for my kid. And after that I'll be hopping onto MOnster Hunter Rise... But I'll Upload the base and the progress I made so you can check it out. Still needs a lot of work though

But each floor has a theme...I still need to make the trophie/museum floor after that It's the more Chill zones

And at the end I'll make the Engine Room that's keeping the thing Going
