I was using my kid's account earlier and visited the hub some hours ago. i saw a player marker on Distira and landed, only to find myself in the middle of an epic, sprawling 3-player sentinel battle that involved more sentinel waves than it should have. 10/10, would definitely recommend. 🔫

Make sure you use your base id with one you registered to find your base here to edit any details later.

There’s been one huge plus to this redoing the base. Apparently in the update Distira was slightly re terraformed. Right off the coast of my base is a HUGE trench that drops deeper into the ocean. so I am establishing a little sea port that you can get to from the hotel to explore

I have to say the best part of Distira is that you get to learn from each other. I learned so much from @main chasm while building.. and @gritty bison will be happy because I finally planted.. that.. nip nip…

I have got the outside done, four landing pads, the farm is back up for the animals, ball generator for the kiddies.. a seaside sub excursion, long pier for enjoying the vistas of Distira.. but still am not sure what to do INSIDE the hotel. I have two potential office spaces on the second floor, then the whole first floor that is pretty blank. Ideas?

I love that sub! the world was regenerated with the latest update. There’s a huge trench out there that didn’t used to be. So when people wanna explore.. they are in the perfect spot for it

Just revisited my Hub base for the first time in about a week. The Wang's Tacos comm ball is gone, and instead of teleporting inside my base from my teleporter, it rendered me in offshore of mt island completely.

No harm done, just weird.

? Nixed comm ball? No one can nix other players comm balls. Only you can, when / if you place another comm ball in another part of the the same planet.

Discussion with Gleam was about the game's odd and inconsistent way of handling teleportation to bases. How sometimes you spawn next to a Teleporter while other times you spawn in an area based on the proximity of your base computer.

Ah. It's the first time I ever used a comm ball, had no idea what the rules are, and really wasn't thrilled with it anyways.
But yes, this was my first time not appearing in my house/base on Distira.

No, we haven't had any surveys for NMSCord Hub. Our Hub's super laid back. It's not a super organized "civilization". It's more of just an in-game location (system, altho we claimed the region in respect to ODS discoveries) for our community to meet and build bases. Why do you ask? Any idea in mind?

Extra! Extra! 📰 It's come to my attention that for Survival & Permadeath game modes, Distira now has Corrupted Sentinels (we had Aggressive Sentinels before).

Update: Some insight about Corrupted Sentinels

Just as agressive as on agressive Sentinel planets.
Have plasma granades, flamethrowers and can heal other corrupted drones.
There are also spider or crab like Sentinels who are essentially the corrupted version of quads. Those crabs can be big or small and they can become invisible.

Well Turing has always had the regular sentinels. But Corrupted ones seems to be.. easier

I juuuust now managed to find an S-class sentinel ship. Tho its okay looking.. at least its blue and not black!
